Comments:

So the Mark Twains will be released before the NPS commems, and less than a month away from Twain Madness. I thought it would be the other way around. There's going to be a 3-Coin NPS set, but no Twain set.

The seemingly now annual Native American Coin and Currency set will be released early this year.

Looks like the Mint won't produce a Nixon or Ford C&Ch set.

The 2016 American Liberty Silver Medal from West Point? I'll bet this is supposed to be a gold coin, with the accompanying silver medal from SF. Which means a yearly series now? Does this reduce the value of my 2015 even further? image

I am surprised there is no Centennial Gold set. Maybe later.

Most of the things on my shopping list are all still to be determined...

There is nothing I see for my collection.
I may buy a Reagan C&C for flipping if the mintage is 25k

I'm not a fan of the Centennial "recreations" so I'll pass on those.

Did the First Spouse Series plan to stop at Nancy Reagan? Only 3 this year. IS THIS THE END?

I'll continue to accumulate the 5 oz pucks...but it would be nice if the Mint would drop their price.

Jimmy Carter manged to beat cancer so far and so being alive he's not eligible for a coin. Good tradeoff ...

Being alive = no coin. Yeah, not a tough choice, but kind of a weird rule to have in place.

I don't see why they won't continue the presidential series. They just need to wait two years after the death of the next president by law to continue the program. It would never end.

Could someone in DC introduce Legislation to turn over production of all US Coinage to the Chinese Mainland?

We need to up our quality and artistry. Also we need to cut costs much like GM with their plans to import an SUV from China for sale in America.

If GM can do it with our Cars, why can't the Mint do it with their Coins ?

    Agreed.

The only complete sets that I collect are the pucks and the proof and formerly UNC gold buffs. Have bought each since release.

    Thanks for posting the list.

I bet the Centennial Gold coins are VERY popular -- especially the dime & quarter.

Well, at least there already a catalog number. 16XA, B, C.

The X is "weird". Never seen that before.

I thought this was going to be a set.

I don't know, but quite a bit of the list interests me. Being an author, I've gotta be in for Twain, and the NPS theme is very deserving (but will have to see the final designs). The trio of 1916 coin commems may also lure me. Looks like a good year thematically.

I'll be surprised if there isn't a nice set.

Just package together the 3 coins they already have planned.
