Yes, very sad day. I have a very soft spot in my heart for all the people of France as my maternal grandparents were both born in France, and we grew up listening to my mom and grandparents speaking that beautiful language of love.

Don't be sad. Sad doesn't help anything. Be angry. If enough people would stop lighting candles and buying teddy bears to show how sad they are, and instead do something any normal angry person would do, like fight back, then the problem would be solved. Kill or be killed I say. The progression of tolerance is going to kill us all one day. Maybe not our physical selves, but our minds and freedoms as we know it. The ideology of the terrorists is sickening and is a disease that needs to be completely exterminated. Not all of that particular religious group are terrorists, but all terrorists are from that particular religious group. Go figure.

Sad times, but this needs to be the wake-up call for the politically correct crowd who think that Islamic extremism is something to ignored or in a perverted way embraced because their authoritarian principles. There can be no more blank checks to unvetted refugees "who deserve a better life." Some of them believe that "a better life" is tied to forcing others to live under their religion.

Do you think you can put a box mental around terrorism? One of the truths of ideology is that as the extreme left and extreme right think that they backing away from one another but they will meet back to back as they go full circle. The results of their practices often end up in the same place.

There was not much difference between Stalin and Hitler. They both dealt in genocide as they killed millions of people. Stalin was the dictator of a vast country. That allowed him to hide his crimes. Hitler was the dictator of a smaller central European country. His atrocities made headlines sooner. Both were monsters.

Today we have Iran and ISIS. They are like the Stalinists and Nazis. Then you add Putin's Russia which yeans to be another totalitarian dictatorship. All of them are bent on destroying western civilization.

Timothy McVeigh was a semi lone wolf (He had Terry McNickles to help him out.), domestic, right wing terrorist. He had no ties to an international movement like the ISIS terrorists in Paris have. He is not relevant to this crisis or discussion.

Over the weekend I saw a drawing of the Statue of Liberty with a tear streaming down her cheek and found it to be disgusting, quite frankly.



The last time I checked, cowering, memorializing, and weeping are the last things you should do when liberty is being attacked by a well-known enemy.



I do understand that many people cannot respond to such things in the way some of us can and do, and for them candles and memorials are solemn expressions of their heartfelt sympathy, 'solidarity', and upset.



Still, I can't help but feel alarmed that the routine response by the 'western governments' to these ever-more-frequent episodes, is to simply light up monuments with colored lights representing the national flag of the latest victims!



The origin of the philosophy and methodology of the attackers is no secret... copies of their 'oldest training manual' are available in virtually every bookstore in my country, (the US) and in most others as well.



It's time to start teaching the uncensored truth to our kids, (& grandkids, if applicable,) and to stop apologizing and excusing the underlying philosophy that hides behind notions of 'peace'.



If I've offended anyone... I offer no apology whatsoever.
