Okay, now I can post them as they are mine. Last night I posted these after the auction then there was a slight glitch but is now worked out and on there way to meimage

    Here is the sequel piece to the first token that Stephaney posted which featured "Pop" the populist critter. Stephaney's piece was issued for the 1896 campaign. This one was issued in 1900. You will note the "Pop" makes a cameo appearance under the donkey. This piece is good deal rarer than the 1896 token.

    And here is another appearance of "The United Snakes of America." This one is also from the 1900 comaign.

    The Populist Party had its best run in 1892 when they nominated James B. Weaver for president and James G. Field for vice president. Weaver had served in Union Army while Field had served with the Confederacy. They got 9% of the popular vote and carried four states plus one electoral vote from North Dakota for a total of 22. Here is a very cool "folk art" medalet that the Populists issued for that campaign.

    I have had these items for a number of years. I'm not sure what the market is now, but it used to be that finding these items was a lot harder to find than paying for them. The selling prices were often $100 or less.
