nice coins, Teddy. I suspect the grade on the Quarter is low due to strike and hairlines not visible in the picture, they are a grade killer.

    thanks everyone

yeah i had that quarter pegged at 64 as it is really clean and free of hairlines and like keets presented

it had to do with strike...63 when i saw a 64...what's 1 point anyway...no biggie there as surely it would land 64 if sent in again

    the 38 proof jefferson now

i saw it as pr66 at best and it landed pr67...that more then shocked me as it is

no more then a 66 there if you ask me

not sure it would hold 67 if sent in

that 26 woody i had pegged at 63bn

as woody's are tough when it comes to grade assigned

so i'm more then happy with that and see it representing 64bn in fine fashion

    All great in my eyes.

I've never compared strikes on Proof Quarters.

Just looking at it by itself it sure looks better than a 63 to me.

The toning on the '57 Jefferson has screaming subtlety. If that is possible. It's absolutely beautiful!

May I join the growing fan club on that '57 Jeff, too? The '38 is also lovely.
