No, 77 locked the price at $12k

    e***e( 77) Fedback score is 50 to 99) US $12,000.00 Sep-27-15 13:39:05 PDT

8 chased him and won. Any shill would have been happy at $2k
Only morons would go to $12k
It will probably be relisted in a few days.

No doubt about that! I sold an AU-55 for a fraction of that number!

As the auctions have been going for me of late, this result looks too typical. I place a bid for what the item is worth, and then it sells for multiples of that.

At the least the coins upon which I've placed bids were nice for the grade. This thing has that post cleaning gray color look to it with a rim bump at 12 o'clock on the reverse to seal the deal. Plus it's been graded by "Uncle Elmer's" second cousin.

Wish I could contact the underbidder. I'd sell him my XF40 for $12K right now!

He is either a shill or a fool. If he is fool he probably would not pay $8,000 for it because he only feels safe when it's an auction, and he has someone diving off the cliff with him.
