<< <i>One charity is Cards2kids.com but according to their web site they now only take 2009-2015 cards. If you have a good compost pile going the cards will be dirt in less than a year if you mix 'em in. >>
LOL. Is this actually true. my wife composts.
Collecting PSA 9's from 1970-1977. Raw 9's from 72-77. Raw 10's from '78-'83. Collecting Unopened from '72-'83; mostly BBCE certified boxes/cases/racks. Prefer to buy in bulk.
If you look in my signature. I run a non-profit show for our synagogue's brotherhood (Men's Club) and our charitable activities twice a year and we'll take ANY and all cards which anyone wants to donate.
Without going too deeply into aggravating Texas State Law, we can no longer do door prizes but instead have to have surprises in each "grab-bag of cards" we give to each attendee with the suggested donation. Therefore, we are now in permanent need of any and all cards not only for the grab bags but better stuff for the surprises as well.
And we are a non-profit and can give you a tax receipt sheet upon receipt.
(This is not just for the OP, but for everyone)

Plano, Tx. Card Show #5, Sunday March 6, 2016 at Adat Chaverim (Northeast Corner Independence and Spring Creek) in Plano Tx 9Am to 4 PM. See you there!
spent a few hours this am going thru some of the non-card boxes. old mags, becketts, tuff stuffs and things of that nature. ran across a few of my old school checklists and brought an immediate smile to my face! cant believe my dad kept these. anyone else would think it's borderline crazy to keep some random pieces of paper, but to me I cant thank him enough. these are some of my favorite things thus far...
love the header: "cape fear region baseball card club"
and i did find my stash of 55 topps. it's nowhere near complete, but i think i'm gonna finish it in honor of my dad!
