Tomorrow I will receive in the mail a coin I've been looking for quite some time, a fellow board member spotted it and alerted me to it, and I was shaking with anticipation as I was e-mailing the dealer I'll take it (before even going to website and seeing the grade and the cost). It's the last coin I need to complete my 1869 U.S. Business Strike Mint Set w/Gold (24 total coins). It's an 1869 $10 from Philly...I will literally have a little celebration tomorrow. I haven't even told my son yet as he won't believe me...I'll just show him tomorrow after the coin arrives image

    >2ltdjorn, That is Great News.
    My news?
Brought home my new GSD (German Shepherd Dog) Saturday.
He is a puppy, 'Mom' is from Germany, 'Dad' is from Serbia.
Super Champion blood lines and 30+ years selectively breeding for the best qualities.
He replaces 'Deutsch Polizei Hund' who crossed the Rainbow Bridge, 15-April-2015.
(not sure on name for new Pup, his personality will be play a large role in naming)
    He is keeping me BUSY!

    GREAT NEWS!!!

Not all are as fortunate as you that's for sure. I spent over a year looking for employment in my field only to quit
looking and retire. Fortunately I could do that (no gov't dole involved).

That was some 4 years ago now and loving it.

Within the last month my youngest graduated from college and got a job in the solar power industry. Even better, her college was in the Washington DC area, and her job is back here in CA.

My fourth grandchild is in the womb, and I'm told "it's a boy". That's cause for celebration. Could be a coin geek in the making image

Congratulations on the job offer! I will likely be looking for a job myself within the next year.

    As for celebratory worthy:

I am graduating from college at the end of the week and can't wait! I have already committed to another year to obtain my Masters as well!
