Brian Downing. I have 10 of his RC's, 20 or so signed cards, 6 signed balls, a pair of game used rookie pants, and 15 game used bats ranging from 1976-1991. Unfortunately, when I met him back in 1991 when I was 12 he was an absolute di#k. Sucks when your sports heroes disappoint in person.
The old pictures from my original post seem to be broken and I must have deleted the originals, but here are a few more recent additions to my Jim Ray Hart collection.
I used to collect Larry bird and Ripken pretty aggressively
for some reason I also always pick up nice gil Hodges cards but never saw him play. I think I would have been a Hodges fan if I was a kid in the 40-50s

collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.
looking for Topps 71-72 hi's-62-53-54-55-59, I have these sets started
Either Archie Manning or Billy Cannon. First player sets I completed. Only do playing day issued cards though. No modern stuff of them. I have not worked on either set for over a decade though

Roger Staubach and Gary Carter are the main players I collect, and I collect anything and everything related to them.
I have basically card only collections of Bernie Williams and Curtis Martin, focusing on just the years of their playing careers.
I have smaller collections of Don Meredith and Bob Hayes, plus a few other smaller projects going.
Did you happen to see the 79 rack with Staubach on back on ebay? Looks legit but you never know.
I did see that one, I believe it's legit, I had virtually the same pack a few years ago from BBCE. I mostly only collect Roger on front but must admit, that one has me tempted and is on my eBay watch list
Collecting anything and everything relating to Roger Staubach
Lance Alworth and Johnny Robinson - my two favorite AFL players and guys that I have connected with. I've tried building autographed master sets for both. I think I am complete for Lance's cards from during his playing days. For Johnny I am missing the ridiculously-tough Fairmont Dairy cards that were cut off the sides of milk cartons. I've never even seen one of those cards for sale, let alone signed.
Todd Tobias - Grateful Collector - I focus on autographed American Football League sets, Fleer & Topps, 1960-1969, and lacrosse cards.
