What would you grade this well worn, dateless 1916 Buff? (Grade in 1st post)

Here is a recent pickup. There is no discernable date, but there is no doubt as to what the date is: AG03?

Edit: 6/2/15 - grade posted, straight grade, FR02. I thought it would go AG03. I've seen others with less detail (and no visible signs of the date) go AG03. There is one on Ebay right now with less detail. Oh well, still not a bad pick!

Yes--Fair 2 and clearly the DDO, correct? Sweet.
With no date at all, I think that puts you in 2 territory as opposed to 3, but I really don't know.

How bad is that print on the back? FR2, but you may be talking environmental damage, too.

Clear doubling on all three feathers as well as doubling of the braids and profile (the profile doubling is light, but it's there)

Meant to agree with OP's estimate of AG-3. Here's the Fair-2 I once owned, and believe yours has much more detail.

FWIW - the fingerprint coloration is not as prominent as it appears in the pic (I think the contrast was juiced). I believe it will straight grade.

PCGS Price Guide in AG03 is $2700, but in reality probably somewhere around half that, maybe a little more...

A dateless ANACS FR 2 recently sold on eBay for less than $600.

I'm curious how much this variety with an acid-treated date would be worth. Not that I'd recommend it, but there must be some of them floating around out there.

I know i look for 1916 SLQs when i see dateless ones, but to me, it is finding that elusive date. This coin is all about the dramatic error of the overdate, where i would probably prefer an acid treated one to a dateless one so i could actually see the overdate, but that's just me.

Probably net graded. Not a coin I would want due to the level of wear and lack of date regardless of the assigned grade.
