Those are some special coins @Labelman87 I randomly came across the DW listing for the gold CAC 56-S the other day and was admiring what a great coin that is. I also really like your 1839 and the color looks excellent on your 1847!

I sold my last no mottos $5’s to @Wahoo554 and @coinlieutenant. I do miss them but what a great series to collect 5yrs ago! My favorite dates remain the 1842’s.
If It's a small group with great color, I think I told him to sell them to his infant daughter's education fund.

I saw them and posted before I saw Marburger's response.
I hope no one flags me for this.

So many nice coins here.
I started collecting half eagles about 4-5 years ago and the Liberty Philly mint coins were still a little sleepy. That has changed in the last year or two and there are a number of factors that financially suggest that I should start collecting something else: 1. escalating prices despite an unknown number of Fairmont, Kunker and other European surprises still to come; 2. too many coins to acquire to put together even a nice date set; 3. Mr. Hansen showing a willingness to bid in order to upgrade.
But I am stubborn and having fun so I will keep going for now. Here is an 1842 Small Letters that I bought from DWN a few years ago:
Is this the Milas coin? Funny what a few decades will do to one's memory

You told us that long ago, at least the Eddie Milas part of it. I thought I would troll provoke you into showing yours since you seemed disinclined to brag on it. It's screaming OMFUG for the date

Now if I owned the Norweb 64-S I would be bragging for sure. That’s a dream.
The picture of the Dahlonega assayer on the 1st picture, if he had a little
facial hair he could be Abe Lincoln's double. Some really choice pieces in
this thread.

As far as I know, the only Milas half eagle I own is the 1845 that I just kept bidding on recently at a Heritage auction. I set my bid limit for the coin and promptly ignored it in the live auction after I lost out on a couple of earlier lots.

Here is one currently for sale in my local coin shop. Oops, never mind. It is a '53-P $2.50... not a $5.
A Barber Quartet is made up of Nickels, Dimes, Quarters, and Halves.
An 1848 $5 to go with my 1846:
