    The coin without the sticker would be dreck. With the sticker, it is a highly collectible piece of exonumia.

    Gaming tokens aren't supposed to look like real money. Cuts into the denial. This, however, is cutting edge. Any historical instance of "stickering" predating this one?

    Stickered dollars are a known field of exonumia. Cliff Mishler has a collection with hundreds of examples. I don't know how many of them are casino related, but I have seen others.

    That tavern is still in business. It might be worth contacting the owner to see if he knows when those stickers were applied to silver dollars.

    I like the sticker dollars that state the exact location. That one also appears to be in nice shape as the sticker shows only limited wear.
