Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

I suspect part of the settlement demanded by Larry was inclusion of the second paragraph of the linked press release. As is should be.
The government is incapable of ever managing the economy. That is why communism collapsed. It is now socialism’s turn - Martin Armstrong
Plus a bunch of people were dragged into this without their wanting to be: Text
<< <i> Hmm... What has transpired in the last month or so at the ANA leading up to this ? >>
Dunno, Enlighten those of us who haven't followed the dog and pony show.

I don't know either. But the "dog and pony show" has had one act recently.
I don't know if it has anything to do with the settlement, but there was recently a change in the lineup of the ANA Board of Directors.
<< <i>And how much did this cost the membership? >>
I truly hope they were treated fairly.
Larry took the ANA from red ink to the black, and look what happened!

Not being an accountant or someone pretending to be one, how does a payout, which this likely resulted in, show up in the PUBLIC financials?
I know it cost more than just any settlement amount (lawyer fees, loss time of employees, etc), but there is most likely a $$$ amount paid out in cash/check, so how would that be shown on any IRS paperwork or whatnot?
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Now, what kind of language needs to be in the ED contract to prevent future lawsuits?
Seriously, the ANA needs to be getting them to sign over their firstborn....or something.....how many in a row is this?

In my experience, really good people who have other options are not going to sign anything they don't want to.

...just going on the above quote (having nothing to do with any party's in this thread)...I'll have to say that I'm my experience, both "really good" and really bad people will act in this fashion...it's the middle of the pack that gets hosed, with the middle being those without enough book smarts paired with with those without enough street smarts.

The problem with ANA is that they have too many dogs and too many ponies. As soon as one show is over, they always come up with another one.
Hopefully all the pent up issues with the ANA are done and the organization can focus on its real mission.

Actually I'm more glad Larry found resolution so he could move forward. The ANA? Broken.

abused by the evil ANA. My guess is that in the context of this lawsuit, both sides have their flaws.
It is curious that an ANA board member resigns for personal reasons, then the lawsuit is settled weeks later.
I keep hoping that the ANA will learn from its mistakes, and I keep being disappointed. Sigh.

Personal reasons? I heard he was going to be booted so he resigned. Wasn't the reason leaking information?
