13-P T2 buff newP

I've been passively looking for this issue for a while as an upgrade and an addition to my registry set. I have high hopes for this one. While I do not yet have it in hand, it appears to have a better than average strike - certainly enough to fit within my better struck collection theme. I suspect the overall eye appeal is going to be rather nice on this one, enough to offset the assorted ticks across the piece

As a point of reference, here is a link to the one that has been in my set since 2008.

<< <i>An excellent strike for the date! Looks like it has some rainbow color, too. Be sure to post a pic when you get it. >>
I'm not going to be able to do any better than the seller's images. On the reverse, the image captures all there is to capture with regards to color, and once in hand, you also note that the image captures clashing at EPU and below the buffalo's belly, near the hind leg. What isn't apparent in the image is a strong clash above the buffalo's neck, a 'spiked neck' if you will. I find the obverse nicer in hand than the image reflects: the brownish toning is really rust/sunset color, and the rest of the surfaces have a subtle violet tone to them that is not readily apparent in the image. There is a noticeable clash down the long feather that you can somewhat make out in the image. The hair details are a bit more deeply impressed than the image would suggest, while the assorted ticks are much less bothersome in hand. Overall, enough color and clash to give this piece some character IMO.
