Home Precious Metals

I know it's not a Friday Metal Porn day, but

it kind of might as well be. Anyone pick off anything these past few days?

I came across these odd pieces that will be going straight to eBay...cuz I know all I'll get here is Spot, if I'm lucky image Just wanted to share something found while hunting.

Unsure when it was amde but the box seems old, no paper work with it, just the box. 8 troy oz Honus Wagner baseball card in .999 silver.

I'll guess the wagner bar is from 98-2002 without google-fu.

    Love the Nixon, nice.

Ive had a number of those Wagner cards. They sell great this time of year!

As for my purchases, zilch. Just came back from vacation so discretionary fund is a bit tight. Price is on a nice little down swing right now though.....black friday shopping here I come.

Did somebody say METAL PORN??!! image

Just one of those silly pieces I couldn't pass up. Really nice image and gorgeous powder dry matte finish fields.

Bahamas (Franklin Mint) $10 1973. Just shy of 50 grams of .925 silver, it's almost twice as big and thick as a US silver dollar.

Once worth less than melt, Franklin Mint pieces are becoming hot again because vast quantities have been melted over the years. I'd wager 75% maybe more, were melted.

Weiss...I agree with your comment. Although I do not collect their products, I have to admit that F/M had some exceptional artists working for them. And your item is proof.

See, I looked up this piece on eBay and found several mirror proof items but also a few matte like mine. NGC only has one listing--FM PFUC.

So did FM make a matte and an mirror proof? Or did they make a mirror proof and an uncirculated?

Matte unc and proof were made. If you like this, you might like even better the 1993 Royal Mint (?) $10 with a large galleon and legend: Piratis Expulsis.
