awe man, i thought it was gonna be because you accidentally closed your browser or forgot to submit or some other mildly entertaining reason or for some unbeknownst geriatric reason, you decided to just unplug everything in your home or office.

i've done the above and many others more than i care to admit (except the unplugging thing) but i will admit to using some strong expletives when after doing the other ones.

Actually, I explained briefly what my rant was about. As much as I appreciate taking the steps necessary to make the trading platform fair, it's those small ticket items that seem to annoy me most.

I don't' want to holler and out people who don't pay for these small items. And I don't want to whine too openly about it because the "amount" of money isn't' what's annoying to me.
The fact that ebay holds the "final value fees" on a transaction that's not paid and takes weeks with that money just makes me want to rant about me paying up front for something I get in the back end.

IF you know what I mean Not a biggie boys. Not at all. It's just a buck here and there.

OK, it's all the fargin' Christmas stuff before Thanksgiving.

The Christmas season seems to start earlier and earlier every year. It's encroaching upon Halloween, now. Pretty soon it will start around Labor Day. Next thing you know, the 4th of July fireworks will mingle with Christmas lights.

All of this ensures that by the time the real Christmas season rolls around, I'm well and truly sick of it.

If they'd stick to the old "twelve days of Christmas" like the song, or at least to the month of December, maybe I wouldn't mind so much.

Now I'm weary of it even before November ends. Bah.

So this guy comes in the shop yesterday. He spent about 2 hours there. By the time he told me about some guy he watched on television, who's girlfriend was taking a lie detector test to see if she cheated on him, I said "Whoa dude…. I haven't watched TV for like 8 years (except when it's on and I catch glimpses of games or what is aired in public places). That's the same kind of _ _ _ _ that was on way back then". I didn't want to watch it then, I don't want to see it now, I am not interested in it ever, and you bore the _ _ _ _ out of me. " He stayed for another hour before he finally said, "well I best be going home". And I said, " Yeah, you might miss your show"


Life in a coin shop. Oh my gosh. If these wall would talk. You guys hate me , yet ?

I keep telling people, THIS IS A COIN SHOP. Leave the drama at home. One of the most boring places I've been on the planet.

I think the Army just made me "harder". Rant over.

My numismatic rant is short a short one ...

The U.S. Mint is issuing too much stuff. I heart that it would cost $34,000 to buy everything they are offering this year. That is nuts.

Unfortunately the mint leaders and Congress have not learned a lesson from the Post Office which destroyed their collector base by issuing too stamps that were ugly and useless.
