Yaz and Schmidt look very sharp, Chris~I'm seeing lots of 8s and 9s, with centering a bit off on the star cards, but hope to see some more blazers.
1980 is a beautiful but frustrating set.

Hey Nikk ... starting early today? LOL Best of luck.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
While there are a lot of recurring print defects in this set, it is curious to me that the hobby has chosen to recognize some of them as variations. PSA lists some but not all of the "yellow" name cards in it's master set. SCD also lists some but not all . And while SCD lists the "no name" Pryor, PSA does not. When it initially turned up, the Stanley yellow name carried a big premium
Nice Henderson! How is bottom left corner? Looks PSA 8 or better depending on corner.

Agreed. Zoom in on that puppy. Great hit. Maybe you'll land 2 in this box. So far the cards are looking great in these 2 boxes. Enjoy the highlights cards in this set.
Thanks,

At 726 cards in the set and 500 in a box, you're looking at an average of 2 Hendersons for every 3 boxes, that is without figuring in the 8% DP'ed cards, but you'll also find that most vending boxes have over 500 cards so it sort of balances out. I'd love to see some 10s come out.
Soft top right corner and to a lesser degree centering keep 2nd Hendu at an 8 at best, though, imo..

The Ryan is a winner if corners are sharp. That is a tough card to find centered.

Ryan's corners are sharp as can be. Yes, there's a tiny bit of fuzz hanging off the upper right corner of the Rickey. But corners overall have been really sharp. And centering pretty incredible.
Third box Tim!
Reggie - scanners slow me down. Need to keep ripping!

So there you go folks. Every star and lower pop. Not a bad box but ultimately disappointing.
Looking forward to the next boxes!

Agreed about the HLs. Really like the Brock/Yaz.
Once again not a bad box. But I am still hoping for a box with as many blazing Hendus as there are blazing Jack Billinghams.
Still not a single Rose through 2 boxes.
Box #3
BAM!
