John I am amazed you are building these sets with self submissions. Congrats on the 1961 Topps set.

WTG John ... those are some impressive sets. Did I hear you say '52 Topps was next????????
    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

    Thanks everyone.

Regarding the '52 set, that's my retirement project. It will only take me a few hundred years to complete that one...especially in light of the fact I don't play the lottery.

    Hiya John

    Congratulations on the 75T set!

I hear ya on the 52T set - I really like the set and do pick a card up from time to time. But, unless they unlock the secret to living to around 200, I doubt I would ever complete it.

Best of luck on your next project.

Thanks Mike. I've seen your thread showing your pick-ups. You've nabbed some nice cards. I'm pretty much limited to picking up well centered PSA 8s of the high pop commons when they come up occasionally. I don't know if I'll ever get beyond the commons that fit into that category.

This really is an incredible feat. I honestly can't imagine compiling even a single set unless I got most of it in a single purchase. The scans, by the way, all look great, with many 8s that could be 8.5s or 9s if resubmitted. Congrats!

It is even more impressive that you did this mostly through your own submissions. You are truly an old school collector. Good luck with your future set building. Looking forward to seeing some scans.

Baseball, it is said, is only a game. True. And the Grand Canyon is only a hole in Arizona.
