Hi...let me introduce myself. I have been reading this forum for the last year and finally decided to participate in the chatter.
I collected baseball cards growing up in the 60s...then was introduced back to the hobby around 1980 when I picked up a copy of a baseball price guide.
I was surprised a piece of cardboard had any value. I remember a 1952 Topps Mantle being listed for $500 in Mint or Near Mint/Mint condition back then.
This sounded like a hobby I would enjoy...bringing me back to my childhood and possibly making money as well. Luckily...my Mom did not chuck my childhood collection and proceeded to sell off that collection to fund new purchases while attending college in the 1980s. Buying ungraded cards before grading services existed was risky. Only recently...I have begun submitting those cards to PSA for grading...and luckily have had only two come back without grades...trimmed and not meeting minimum size requirements. Now...I will only purchase PSA and SGC cards and subscribe to the motto "buy the card...not the holder".
My interests include selected HOFs and stars from the mid 50s to the mid 70s in high grade with good eye appeal (PSA 9...8.5 and 8s as well as SGC 92 and 96s)...not only rookies but a few years throughout a players career. I also have dabbled in unopened but just have 1980s material.
My most recent purchases last night on REA Auction included a 1963 Pete Rose SGC-92 and 1971 Thurman Munson SGC-96. That is all for now....have to get to work to pay for these Gems.

Bingo!
Great reason in itself to grab the hobby by the toploader and jump back in.
But - WOW! You really jumped in - this is an incredible card.
Thanx for sharing and don't be a stranger.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

<< <i>I'd say as much of a chance as any other card (which is very low with SGC or PSA having examined it), and that the OP's card is perfectly fine. >>
Thanks, I was not sure if SGC graded sheet cuts like BGS does or not.
IT CAN'T BE A TRUE PLAYOFF UNLESS THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONS ARE INCLUDED
