Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

<< <i>Thx homies. They were bought raw from Sean Bassik Cards. >>
Hope you let them know to mark up their prices to cover your commission
Congrats, those are beauties and well deserved grades!

<< <i>Those cards are razor sharp~I'm surprised an experienced collector like Sean didn't sub them himself. Grades are well deserved on those. The 78 Ryan was a pop 1 in PSA 10 last I checked and Hatch had gotten it. Congrats! >>
I was pretty relentless on Sean about selling them to me. He's also a friend and definitely hooked me up with a major solid. We all know that the best 9s and the 10s are the same cards with different good fortune on grading day. So while I am certain there are 9s of the 77 that are just as nice, I am also certain the 78 can hang with the lone 10.

<< <i>78 is a psa 9. 77 is the 10. tell hatch i'm interested in his 78 though! ; ) >>
I know, I was just mentioning what the pop is for a 78 10. The chances of you prying that 10 from Hatch might take 6 figures. No joke..
Edit to add: At least, LOL!!

<< <i>Sometimes it is just as hard to get the grade the card deserves as it is to get the cards themselves. >>
Slum-- that's up there now for me alongside, "Buy The Card, not the grade."

<< <i>Begsu you are spot on. Mem Lane seems to have the market on low-end 9s and 10s cornered, LOL. >>
ha! seriously. not only that, the prices they are asking on them are insane as well. there's a 63 mantle that is barely a 9 that they are asking $10.5K....
<< <i>Sometimes it is just as hard to get the grade the card deserves as it is to get the cards themselves. You managed both. Congratulations! >>
Slum, that is eloquent. And so very true....

Along with that 1976 Ryan 7 that became a 9, the Paige and Aaron RC half-grade bumps, and the Molitor RC that 10'd from a 9, and it's been a sick run lately!
