Help! Anyone seen one of these?

Posted on the darkside also but I can't find any information on this gold coin......weight is 1/4 oz and a tad smaller than a quarter.

    It looks like it could be either a generic bullion coin or a commemorative medal for that house. The "900" could be the fineness - 90% or could be the year? It doesn't really look like gold to me perhaps gold plated silver.

    If it were bullion I would expect the weight to be shown somewhere. Is there anything on the edge?

    Not sure about this. I almost never see a weight, but fineness is common on legitimate pieces.

    The 900 script is the european style of denoting precious metal fineness. Looks like gold to me. The legend literally translates as:
    The House of the Federal President. I'm fairly certain that the official government residence of the German President is in Bonn.

    It does test at 90% gold and I agree with the other statements-weird thing I can not find out anything about this coin/token/medal. No year, mintage, who made, why made, etc.

    German "White House." It remained the official residence of the President until the government offices were returned to Berlin in 1994. As such, my guess....Privately minted, prior to 1994, gold round.
