Showing off my OPC Clemente's

Hi guys,
I've been slowly working on getting a complete run of OPC Clemente's in high grade. I haven't been overly aggressive about buying these, but it has taken about five years to get here and I try to pay attention. I upgrade when and where I can, but I thought I'd share my collection to date. If anyone has any that would upgrade my collection that they are thinking of parting with, PM me please. What I wouldn't do for a 1971 OPC 8...
Thanks,
Nathanael

I purchased the 1972 PSA 9 and the 1973 PSA 8 from board members. This place always has treasures.

I especially like the 65OPC - the color is just brilliant.
Thanx for sharing.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Great looking cards, thanks for sharing. Didn't realize you were into much baseball in addition to hockey. Are you working on getting the multi-player OPC Clemente cards like the team cards and league leaders too?
Very nice group of cards!!!
Matt
I collect: 80’s Rookies and 86 Fleer Basketball
All are well centered also
I do not know but I bet OPC gets a premium over regular topps.

I grew up collecting more baseball cards than hockey cards because my uncle was a huge baseball fan and I couldn't get any cards at all where I lived (even hockey) in northern Canada. He'd send me cards for Christmas and I'd go on holiday and scour every convenience store with him for Topps, Donruss, and Fleer packs. My grandfather was a scout for the Pittsburgh Pirates and always spoke highly of Clemente, so I have focused on him.
<< <i> I noticed on the front of the 68 that the "A" in Pirates is solid white. Usually there is a small space in the center so the "A" is more defined. Is this a common trait with the OPC brand? If you compare side by side yours with the many on EBAY you will see the difference. All in all though some great examples. It's unfortunate the card company Americanized his first name on many issues with "Bob" instead of his given name. >>
Bluejayway- Stupid dust removal feature on my Epson scanner. I checked this morning on my card and the A in Pirates isn't any different than any others.
And since I'm bragging/sharing, here's a link to my Clemente basic set on the registry. I got in on the PSA 8 rookie before it went crazy, which is relieving. I'm surprised I'm at #10. I am surprised there aren't more people collecting this set in 9's considering it isn't impossible for most of the cards.
Frozencaribou's #21 basic set
