Very nice looking '92 S coins guys! One with a little more E showing...
Seems like it's been a while since I've added anything to my collection, but have this one on the way for my alternate mint mark subset:

So is the 93-S Quarter with a center MM anything?
The 1895-S ctr. MM BQ is the hidden gem to focus in on. Surprises me how the '95-S doesn't get the same attention as it's near-equivalent 1897-S younger cousin's rarity!
Here is a recent newp of a nicely-used '95-S ctr. MM. I don't have full coin pics taken yet
A Barber Quartet is made up of Nickels, Dimes, Quarters, and Halves.
Here's a new raw pickup that arrived in the mail today, a 1901 10C:
1901 was a very bad year for the person punching the New Orleans MM on the dimes. Recently both @sedulous and @paesan posted examples of 1901 O RPM's. Here's another:
This one had 3, maybe 4 whacks to get just the right mess of a MM.
Here's a coin that @paesan helped me obtain. Lenny spotted an attractive 1904 S Half in a NGC AU 58 holder; he knew zI was looking for one. He alerted me to the coin at J. J. Teaparty' website:
I apprehensively made the purchase, wanting the coin in a PCGS holder, not an NGC holder. Upon arrival it was whisked away to California for crossover. Fortunately PCGS liked the coin as an AU 58 as well:
@JeffMTampa Wow Jeff! You got one of the good ones. Great job! so nice.
For me, my newp is this 1900-O Barber Quarter snapped out of my local coin shop (out of all places!) earlier today. What grade would you give it? It is a filled-S phenomenon as seen on the reverse lettering of STATES in the upper loop of the last S.

Vern- there are SO many undocumented Barber Dime varieties; I can't pretend to have a response to your question. Hopefully the BCCS Varieties Team knowledge base will be in a position to capture the Dime series in 2022. That's certainly a very nice '95 S Dime with a great looking RPD.
Kevin Flynn did a lot of research on the Barber Dime RPD; his book has a lot of them documented.
Here's a raw Barber Dime I recently picked up, a 1910 D
I'm thinking the coin should grade AU 53, but I'm not very accurate with my dime grading. For some reason this seems to be a very elusive date to find for examples above VF condition.

you are right, my best is an XF-40, purchased in 2003.

Not often I add a barber dime, PC58. Jeff and Tim, how common is the RPD?
7 registered by PCGS Vern. Kind of reminds me of low pops similar to the '01-O/Horiz.O dime or the '92-O Clashed Dies Quarter... all of which may have more out there unrecognized by PCGS but will be much smaller than the entire population. As Jeff, Steve, and I build-up a more formal database on these varieties then improve information flow, I am anticipating these types of varieties will get more attention in the future. Nice coin and find!

Enjoyed the New Orleans Mint museum earlier today. After preparing the night before with everything working, my SD card decided to fail me unexpectedly with my macro camera set-up. The USS Republic shipwrecked Seated material through glass was coming out great during my first pic. The Barbers, if you have been there, are at an angle to the outer glass in capital plastics holders. You can't get a straight on macro pic with those as you will see in a couple of pictures here:
The 1897-O Half Dollar was obviously of interest.
Here is the obverse of the 1895-O dime in Capital plastics holder.

Some beautiful coins in these catalogs. Duckor and Friend collections! Mike Hayes gave these to me about 11 years ago and want to share them. First one who is an avid barber half collector to PM me with their address gets them.
Here is another newp. This 1894-O Barber Quarter may have some slight repunching seen in the '94' of the date South. This is a PCGS XF45 specimen with centered O Low. Once in hand, I will be comparing it to my existing ctr-O-low specimen also PC45.
Here is Coin #1
Here is my other one in PC45 taken with my camera. I notice that it also has a slight date repunching South so I would attribute it to be the same Obverse die. The Reverse mintmark positioning also seems to be the same (centered O Low). This specimen is stronger for the grade with slightly less wear. Here is Coin #2:

Hey Lenny,
Please keep posting. Your coins continue to amaze me for quality and difficulty to find. Even the lower grade ones are super nice. Without you, speaking for myself, I would be nowhere with my set let alone knowing so many wonderful Barber collectors.

more centered mint mark
So is the 93-S Quarter with a center MM anything?
From what I've observed, the center MM on the 1893 S Quarter is the more common variety.

Threads slipping- time to post. Here's one I've owned for many years:
Moving up the thread... A follow-up from @jedm Jed's post: Here is a far right MM 1895-O quarter in PC40:
Tim
A Barber Quartet is made up of Nickels, Dimes, Quarters, and Halves.
Here's the "Not So Far" Right MM:
My other one was Far Right but Low. This one is Far RIght but High for the 1895-O BQ... PC45:
Note how this "O" is tilted slightly more left than Jeff's... the shape of the O is uneven a little bit as well...

Here's another 1901 O Dime, the current representation in my PCGS set in an AU 50 holder:
This one has a RPM as well, but the bloke only took 2 strikes on this one:
His arm must have been getting tired....
Might as well post a minor upgrade for me. I missed the crown jewel though.

Tim- I think coin #1 fits your set better. I prefer the luster on coin #2.
A nice little VG-10 with a CAC sticker...
No offense but you use to give the originator of this thread H for what you are doing.
Edit to add, what don't you just post a link to your ebay store in your sig. line?

Nice coin, Tim. It's SO much tougher to find than the PCGS price guide indicates.

This one will be off to the grading room in a couple of days.
Here's another raw pickup, a 1901 O Dime:
Not a pretty coin, and it's seen a bit of use, but it was purchased for the RPM-

@paesan Wow Lenny, both are tough dates and nice as well.
