This is really impressive guys. To secure boxes and packs from a sealed case is pretty special. I don't see any decrease in value by breaking the case because each box will be designated as such and wrapped. Congrats to you all. I would have been in on this but I own a box (also from a sealed case but from before Steve began marking them as such - bummer).

Called BBCE just now and am picking up and paying for mine this weekend. Have a laundry list of other stuff to get, so making the drive to the mecca of unopened material. Thanks again for putting this together.
<< <i>Thanks for all of the super quick payments! If you have paid and I do not have you noted, please let me know.
FYI, I will not be opening my two boxes. So I will not be able to post any pictures except for me dancing around the BBCE box when it arrives. . .
Is $48K a forum record? Or are we about to break it in the other thread! >>
For one case, I would say yes. Though total group rip purchases among all cases/boxes have been known to approach 100K in the past. I think the one tonight is at about 80K.

Start rippin' fellas! I bought a box toward the end of 2011 for $1,300 with the plan of it doubling in value in 5 years (ha!). It sat there taunting me til I opened it, maybe 5 months later. Had PSA encapsulate 15 packs and opened the other 21. A super time, very nice cards and it started a great 75 mini set which I completed this year. Sold 13 of the packs plus a few cards I had graded and came out ahead financially, as well as now having the complete set.

Daniel,
That is one of the better "success" stories from opening a box (well half of one anyways) that I've heard. Congrats on finishing the 75 mini set!

<< <i>You realize if 16 of you bought the case and left it sealed, you'd make far more money in the long run right? >>
Sure, that might have worked..
