>>>Also, if I recall correctly, you were one of the few members who got their knickers in a twist about 25th Anniversary American Silver Eagle collector set discussion being posted in the US Coin Forum and not the Bullion forum.<<<
Yes, I was.....ANYTHING is more coin related than bullion pieces silver copied to look like Walkers.
I'd rather see your Canadian dimes than the flippers' threads about their profits/losses or ability/inability to get coins in time for First Strike labels. Heck, I have some Canadian dimes myself.
I used to live a little north of Canada but now live in North Carolina.
When I lived up north, I collected prooflike Canadian coins because they were dirt cheap compared to their US counterparts, and were more readily available.
I voted no, because I'd like to see non US coins on the World Forum instead.
And for those that thing that Canadian coinage is accepted here in the US, that is highly dependent on where you live. Try to spend a few loonies, twonies, or quarters here in NC and you will get laughed at as they reject your offering.

The 69 dime was minted here in the US does that make it a US minted coin? What other Canadian coins were minted here? What US coins were minted in Canada and if minted in Canada is it a Canadian minted coin? I also agree that a comparison of the same year coin and it's stats would be interesting.

Yeah...I feel the same way. If you ask a question, get an answer you don't like/don't respect, and do what you want anyway, what's that really say?
I love it when people love their collections and are proud of them. There is, however, a spot to show them all off. US here, world (incl canaduh) on the other forum here.

However, I also have no interest in a great many topics here and many of them have little or no relationship to U.S. Coins. I'm quite used to skipping those, so I can skip Canadian dimes just as easily.

Why have a poll if you are going to ignore the results?
>>
Dimey, you ignored this gents question. Why? So I will ask again for him, and until you answer it, ask yet again.
Why have a poll if you are going to ignore the results? At this moment it is 87 no, 63 yes.

I'd like to see it on the dark side. I feel like I have. But when I come here, I don't care to look.

I would argue that he was asking for an opinion, not a mandate.
That said, I have not opened any of his Canadian dime threads, nor will I in the future.
There are far more offensive or inappropriate threads that get posted here regularly.

What is north of Canada? Greenland? >>
Very perceptive!
The answer is that I lived near Imlay City Michigan for a while. If you drive straight south on M53 from there you run into Windsor Ontario....
Of course, I didn't tell the whole story - Canada was also to the east and north as well.
Here ends the geography lesson for the day.
Back to dimes.
