A spontaneous purchase at the Clearwater show last weekend.....while browsing through my dealer friend's Baltimore purchases,
this one caught my eye for some reason. I don't collect gold and have bought very few gold coins over the years, but this one looked kind of
neat, and was surprisingly inexpensive, priced to me between VF Bid and Ask - which is $200 less than a VF 1909-SVDB, a lot more
interesting (to me anyway), and made of gold! It was difficult to photograph, but here goes:

RYK is still addicted. I've known RYK for many years and know he is holding on to a pretty good secret stash. I know because there are two coins I want real bad (my addiction showing here) but he is still hooked on them.

From what I've seen, once you get a DOG bite, your sickness may wax and wane and it might change direction a bit, but it never goes away.
(and, frankly, why would you want it to?)
