Had some free time today and wanted to share this with all of you.
It's safe to say we have all visited a few stadiums in our life. I wanted to start this thread so that we can all share pictures that we've taken of visits to stadiums whether in the US or abroad. It doesn't matter which sport but if you have a picture you would like to share, post it here. The only rule is, it has to be a picture that you took while you were at the event and not something from Google LOL
I'll start it off with some that I've visited this year. Later I'll dig up my US stadium visits and post them too.
RIO DE JANEIRO - MARACANA home of fluminense, flamengo, and botafogo. Also home of the final match of the World Cup this weekend. I was fortunate enough to catch a playoff game here in March between fluminense and Vasco de Gama. WHAT A ROWDY CROWD!
Christ the redeemer in the back drop
Vasco team flag
BUENOS AIRES - "La bombonera" Home of the famous BOCA JUNIORS.many stars played here butnonebigger than the legend Diego Maradona. I couldn't see a game here since they were playing away the week I was there.
BUENOS AIRES - River plates stadium.his is boca juniors biggest rival
SANTO DOMINGO - Estadio Quisqueya. Pretty much every Dominican MLB player that you know has played at some point in their career with one of the two teams that play in the historic stadium. Big Papi, Juan Marichal, Manuel Mota, Pedro Martines....just to name a few. The two teams that play here are LICEY and ESCOGIDO. It's not the prettiest stadium but it sure has produced a lot of talent through the years.

Have been to Old and New Busch a number of times over the years, including Games 3-5 last season. Bill DeWitt, Jr. (owner) is a card collector himself, and inside the new stadium he lines the walls with life-size versions of his stash. Final photo is a view of the stadium from the peak of the Gateway Arch.
