Middle spot is ideal imo...It's a long wait from #1 or #2 to #28 or #27..

Is it asking too much to have everyone in League B to change their team name to their PSA user id (or at least incorporate the user id in the team name)? It's nice to know who you're playing against.
It's also perfectly acceptable to tell me to shut up and mind my own business.

I agree that it makes it easier especially in the beginning to at least have your user name as part of your team name.

I love though how Yahoo says I had the best draft out of the 7th position. Hated everything about that spot unless Calvin Johnson fell to me in the 1st which of course he didn't.
Nothing worse than getting the first pick and not being there for the draft!!!
I am sooo mad at myself. I totaly thought the draft was on the 12th and my net went out at work, which I hate to say is where I do most of my forum surfing. I guess it isn't too teribad, but I really wanted AP instead of Shady and a better QB that Kaepernick. Hell, the auto pick drafted me two Kickers..... Oh well, lesson learned. I was so stoked to draft too.
If you haven't checked out the report card/draft grades, it really is entertaining. Here is a quote from the draft grade of Coltsfan......
<< <i>Draft Summary
Congratulations, Coltsfan has earned a participation award. Because that's just about all they did in this draft, participate. This delightful roster (for the opposition) is projected to finish 14th in 2014 CU Fantasy Football League with a record of 0-13-0. >>
The good news for me is they have me picked to finish 13th. They had me picked to finish 1st last year and I finished dead last.

I also autodrafted, and got AP with the 5 pick, maybe we can work out a trade.

Manager Barry of Protect-This-House, please check your team page. I have sent you a trade offer basically offering Torry Smith for Jason Witten. It should help us both giving me a better option at TE & you getting a much better option at the Flex (W/R/T) position. Let me know what you think.

I don't think anyone is checking, for example Mrknowthanx posted he didnt want Mccoy with his first pick that he wanted AP, I offered him that trade on yahoo and posted the trade here but didn't get a reply. I hope people continue to not be interested, it should be easy money.

Sadly he will probably want more now for McCoy. If he took AP at #1 than McCoy likely goes 2nd pick or 3rd at worst.
AP can fall to 5 but McCoy is very very unlikely to ever fall to 5.
Well, after 13 long weeks, the real season is finally here! Win, lose or draw in the playoffs, it's been a blast. After the first 2 weeks, being 0-2, Brenden was kind enough to offer me a trade involving Forte. Luckily, I did not panic and make the trade. 11 wins in a row later, the number 1 seed with a bye in the first week. Now that I'm done trash talking & patting myself on the back (because nobody else is) Let the games begin.

I was 12-1 in our league, but definitely not a lock for anything more than that. No trades to help me out other than getting AD a few weeks ago with the very minimal possibility that he can play again. Should be fun.

Been a hell of a season. Love how I managed to put up the most points (by around 120+ over yourself) but you and Fusions refused to pick up that damn 3rd loss. Yup at the point I was trying to pick up Forte I would have never guessed Le'Veon Bell would have turned out to be such an amazing RB this year. I guess he can thank his performance all on because he got high.
You have the team to beat at this point.
Here is to League B putting up the most points in the finals to win the extra money.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe we are guaranteed 4th place money at this point, not that that is what we are shooting for, just saying.
In the B league, I really think Brendan is the team to beat. You never know though. In another $100 league at FSP that I'm in, I was like Brendan as I had by far the most points but got the #3 seed. Last week, our 1st round of the playoffs, I get knocked off by a team who had a career high week. All well
I thought I could hold onto the top spot in the final week with my 9 point lead, then got blown out of the water with that 189 point total of yours - nice job.
Gotta say I was very pleased with my regular season finish (I'm Fusions BTW) but I don't know I can make the finals - my WR corp isn't as strong as I would like. But it's been fun.
Good luck to all in the playoffs and let's bring that extra cash to group B.

Typical of my teams performance, they put up the high score for the league this week, one week AFTER being eliminated. Good luck to all that are left......
I was fifth in the league in scoring and finished 5-8. That was fun.
One request for next season - waivers need to be reset each week so the team with the worst record has first opportunity to improve their team.
With the "rolling waivers" or whatever it is - it allows the strong teams to get stronger (they can just hold a high waiver spot until somebody hits huge) and penalizes the guys at the bottom of the table that HAVE to churn a few players.

I agree, I was not thrilled with the waiver process, but I think that in the future, if you get your first RB before round 6, you will not have to depend on the waiver wire quite as much. LOL
Top 4 regular season points getters also ended up (in some order) the top 4 seeds in the playoffs and ended up in the semi finals of the playoffs. Not too often that happens with the randomness of fantasy football. Congratulations to everyone for ending up in the money. Hopefully I can pull off an upset this week and next as the 4 seed

Was very interesting that it worked out this way.
In regards to waivers/ free agents I say next year every team gets a certain amount of $$$ to bid each week towards players. This is the most fair way to do waivers these days and Yahoo supports this method now. Requires people to really think about what they are doing and everyone has an equal chance at players.
Below is how our top 4 played out in the regular season based on W-L and points. I am Team USSR and my team turned out quite nicely yet I managed to get a 3rd loss (thanks Cakes) to not get the 1st round bye.

Would love to see how League A panned out for the top 4 if someone could post those results.
Also for the Championships I will be posting screen shots to show how League B finished out to see who wins the extra money, looking forward to seeing if we can take down League A.
Here is a snapshot of League A, we had a lot more parity in our league. Mathew (artistlost) won our league's hardluck of the year award. If he was in the playoffs this week, he would have scored over 200 points!!!

That sucks.
In a 10 team league I ran the highest scoring team overall missed the top 4 (5th place). We had to play each other this past week to decide the playoffs. For the MNF game he had Julio Jones going and I had Matt Ryan, Lacy and Cobb. I beat him by 0.35 points to move on (how lucky Jones had to sit the end of game and Ryan got that junk TD on 4th down).
A 12 team league of mine we had a first this year with a tie this week (1st week of playoffs). We do fractional scoring also which makes a tie pretty damn rare. The team that moved on was the higher ranked team and had also won the regular season matchup between said two teams.
Congrats to the finalists in B, Brendan (Team USSR) and Mike (CocoaBeachdodger$). So frustrated. If I would have started either of the quarterbacks on my roster besides Johnny Football (who netted me points from the QB position) I would have won this week's matchup. I left QB 17.94, 13.26, RB 10.9, WR 12.6, 17.00, 23.1 on the bench this week and lost by 3.9 so lots of different combinations would have won me the week. I used my expert fantasy football coaching skills to select one of the few combinations that could have lost me the week. Of course Fusions has the biggest gripe as his losing score in the other semifinal would have beat either team in Cocoa and my semifinal match. Thanks to everyone who played. This was my favorite league to play in this year.

Looks like the 2 toughest teams per the report cards get to duke it out in week 1.
Lets go TEAM USSR!!
Good luck everyone!!

I first saw mine in an email. You can also see it on "My Team" page.
<< <i>I can't complain with the 12th spot. Gave me a B report card. >>
I had the 12th spot and got a B too.

<< <i>If you haven't checked out the report card/draft grades, it really is entertaining. Here is a quote from the draft grade of Coltsfan......

I also autodrafted, and got AP with the 5 pick, maybe we can work out a trade.

<< <i>Manager Barry of Protect-This-House, please check your team page. >>

<< <i>Well, after 13 long weeks, the real season is finally here! >>

All well
Gotta say I was very pleased with my regular season finish (I'm Fusions BTW) but I don't know I can make the finals - my WR corp isn't as strong as I would like. But it's been fun.
Good luck to all in the playoffs and let's bring that extra cash to group B.

Looks like the 1st week of playoffs is about in the books.
Only an idiot would have a message board signature.
<< <i>I was fifth in the league in scoring and finished 5-8. That was fun.

I agree, I was not thrilled with the waiver process, but I think that in the future, if you get your first RB before round 6, you will not have to depend on the waiver wire quite as much. LOL
<< <i>Top 4 regular season points getters also ended up (in some order) the top 4 seeds in the playoffs and ended up in the semi finals of the playoffs. Not too often that happens with the randomness of fantasy football. Congratulations to everyone for ending up in the money. Hopefully I can pull off an upset this week and next as the 4 seed >>
CocoaBeach Dodger$ 11-2-0 1630.34
Fusions 11-2-0 1571.20
TEAM USSR 10-3-0 1749.32
steve lum's Rad Team 9-4-0 1594.38
Would love to see how League A panned out for the top 4 if someone could post those results.
Also for the Championships I will be posting screen shots to show how League B finished out to see who wins the extra money, looking forward to seeing if we can take down League A.

Team USSR 148.08 vs Fusions 137.38 FINAL
and
CocoaBeach Dodger$ 84.70 vs steve lum's Rad Team 86.80
with Forte and Ingram to still go for CocoaBeach and Jeffrey for steve lum's
What is it looking like over in League A?
