GTG: Newp Peace Dollar - will it grade?
first, i am not planning on sending this coin in for grading.
just thought I'd get some opinions on it, will it straight-grade if sent in, and what would the grade be?
i'm aware of the rim damage at 10:00 o'clock on the reverse and the mark above "IN GOD" (reeded edged coin hit?), i still like the coin..
have fun with it!
thanks!

Yes it would grade, no it is not worth doing so.
It looks like it was accelerated with heat glancing at the full spectrum of rainbow colors on the obverse rims.
My Peace Dollar
Regardless, I really like it!
The 1923-P is one of the most numerous silver dollars ever produced in the US. Sliders like this are available by the thousands.
5% it would
so basically not worth sending in with those odds

My guess is 58 or 61. It's not like PCGS has a big downside in giving this a grade.

Would make a nice album coin, as mentioned.
Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.
lostincoins coin , no chance that coin was blowtorched. its as original toning as they come there.
not super pretty sometimes but has its own characteristics.
make sure it hasn't been cleaned and then retoned. a lot of peace dollars out there with the brown reverses and obv toning have been cleaned first and of course a lot of them haven't too.
.
