The packs you bought never had gum in them.
You never went to a LC. (You don't even know what LC stands for.)

1. You create a thread about your sweet PCG 10+ Nolan Ryan cards that you only paid PSA 7 prices for
2. You ask the board whether your 1975 Topps PSA 5 George Brett is in a compromised case
3. You ask the board whether they think an ungraded 1952 Mantle on eBay is "real or fake"
4. You show off your awesome collection of Walmart blaster boxes
5. You ask the board the best way to sell your 30,000 1980's commons

i liked that, actually. at least it wasn't the same 84 x-out box i'd seen a trillion times.

2. You protest outside the doors of PSA chanting Joe O. is a racist because on some of the 1955 graded cards the flips contain the words "Red Man" instead of "Native American".

Jason, I have to think this wasn't intended as a slam against this thread as I don't think you are one to belittle what others collect?
Like others, I enjoyed the photos of the blaster box collection, finding it to be both aesthetically cool and, as others noted, unique compared to what is typically posted.
Snorto~
Blast on, buddy.
Someone came on board - can't remember who?
Their request: "I'm looking to buy any graded cards of Yogi Berra."
Responder: "I have a really nice PSA 6 Berk Ross."
Requester: "No thanks. I'm only interested in Berra."

HA! I do remember!! I remember the responder but not the requester. Good times!!
You think that poor lady, who was recently widowed, selling a massive lot of 100 cards in unopened packs doesn't have a hairy chest and man parts
Bart: Is this cel (Walmart blaster box) worth anything?
Comic Book Guy: Huh, let me show you something. This, this is a Snagglepuss
drawn by Hic Hiesler (Hobby baseball card non blaster box) , it is worth something. This, this is
an arm drawn by nobody (Wal mart Blaster box) , it is worth nothing.
Bart: Can't you give me anything for it?
Comic Book Guy: I can give you this telephone, it is shaped like Mary Worth.
Bart: Awww.
Comic Book Guy: No groaning in my store.
#5. You brandish a tilted, OC, and/or poorly registered "10" and think it's a better card than a superior looking 7, 8, or 9.

Yep -- I like them. And, who I am I to tell someone else what not to collect?

Amen brotha!
I just think it's funny seeing a thread showing off unopened collections and the first poster shows several immaculate boxes of 70's wax, the next shows a few cases from the early eighties, another shows a vending box stash and it's followed up with like 10 2009 blaster boxes. Sorry, I thought it fit the thread title description well.
If no one agrees then so be it. :-P
Edited to add: I never saw that one blaster box thread (I don't really open threads with blaster in the title) so I didn't mean to single that one out. Didn't mean to come off like a d*ck. Sorry to everyone!

<< <i>Oh haha, your timing coming right after that thread made it seem related. Just bad timing lol. No worries. We were all like "huh?" because you're better than that. Makes sense now. >>
That's what I was thinking and thanks, it does make sense now.
Fun times!
<< <i>When you're asked to associate a "year" with "Bowman", your answer is 1989. >>
I'd probably do that, because I started collecting when I was a kid in 1989.
