Look again, because I see electric blue and neon pink right through Liberty's hair and cap. And did you even see the rest of the GSAs in the LM auction? Because collectively they wreck the notion that brilliant color is strictly a result of some recent undocumented mysterious phantom AT process that no one has ever substantiated with actual evidence. By all means, point me to some REAL evidence. I welcome the education.
The eye sees what the eye wants to see. I have plenty of GSA's in my collection that have neon like colors on them. Now granted, they are few and far between, but I have them none the less. As with all things in life, 30% agree with you and 30% disagree and 40% just don't give a hoot. Seems this applies to toning just like all other things.

If you have seen enough Morgan dollars over the years, you've most likely seen a few of them with wildly toned colors. My only comment is that it seems they are far more prevalent than they were twenty or thirty years ago.
