Prefer CAC or CACG coins vs the other sticker players. investors aggressively seeking these. Furthermore CAC bump up in CDN bid / CPG MV. Go check it out.
CAC beats the other sticker products to pieces IMO. Additionally - Bourse room buyers more likely know of CAC vs the others.
While MANY coins with Eagle Eye Photo Seals will get a CAC sticker, and MANY coins with CAC stickers will get Rick Snow’s Eagle Eye Photo seal, there are plenty of exceptions.
While JA and Rick Snow each have “similar” requirements for coins to merit their stickers as solid for the grade, when I was putting together my “unique” #7 current rank IHC set (EVERY coin merits BOTH stickers), I learned early on that they weigh various factors differently from each other. For example, Rick weighs strike quality and die state more heavily. Rick likes seeing good detail in the feather tips of the first three feathers from the left. He is also more sensitive to carbon spots, especially on those graded 65RD and higher.
On the other hand, I believe that CAC is apparently stricter on color originality.
I decided for my Indian Head and Flying Eagle Cents to buy coins that met the standards of EEPS AND CAC. To me, that’s having the best of both worlds!
Both JA and Rick have a wonderful professional respect for each other. The Photo Seal is probably the only sticker that CAC will not remove from the slab when they apply their own sticker.

If that is the case then I would lean towards Photo Seal since my personal preference is to subtract more for corrosion ("carbon") spots than most other people would. But I'm not a major red copper buyer or collector (I only buy a few here and there when I think the item is a bargain and relatively inexpensive).

I thought I read somewhere on the forums that JA said that the Eagle Eye sticker would automatically get the CAC sticker. I may be mistaken though.
Seemed to be the protocol, and then it changed, seemingly.
Photo seal. I have never seen a photo seal Indian Cent that I didn't like. Of course having both is the ideal.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

I agree, and I do the same, as I believe MANY other supporters of CAC do too. I can't tell you how many thousands of coins graded by PCGS with CAC stickers in the grades I want at reasonable prices I pass by, simply because i don't like the eye appeal. As such, don't mistake our desire for CAC stickered coins to mean we don't initially actually look hard at the coin - we absolutely do!!!!!!!!

$15 plus round trip shipping for the sticker, AND also included is the plasticized Photo Seal card with the slab photo on the front, and Rick's signature on the back AND three high quality downloadable photos for your use - a slab photo, a large obverse photo, and a large reverse photo - all for only $15, regardless of the value of the coin! Best of all, if your coin does not Photo Seal, you get that $15 back!!!!!!! Show me another bargain like that!

I much prefer the Photo Seal for 2 specific reasons.
1.) As mentioned, the photos that are included with the Photo Seal are very high quality.
2.) I think there would be very few dealers that have seen more and know more about FE/IHCs than Rick.
BTW, he has had some CAC stickers coins that he did not Photo Seal himself. As for values, they probably bring in close to the same premiums, CAC might have more overall clout in the market though. As Steve said, look for both stickers and you are golden!
@Eldorado9: hey, great looking coin! I used to own that one! It’s from the old NY hoard & sold as a proof back then. I don’t remember exactly but I think they went for $30!!!!!!!
<< I thought I read somewhere on the forums that JA said that the Eagle Eye sticker would automatically get the CAC sticker. I may be mistaken though. >>
That used to be the case but is no longer. I recently heard of some Indians that were sent to CAC with photo seal and were not CAC'd. So that being said, which would bring more money and therefore be more desirable? >>
I wonder if Rick ever got any CAC coins that he wouldn't photo-seal.
Coins often turn in the holder so I would guess both companies could get the others sticker that they would not honor.

All I can say is that the first Photo Seal IHC’s I bought blew me away. I wondered why the PS prices seemed so high, now I get it.
