NY METS Opening Day - or not!

Well, I woke up at 7:15 here on Long Island and it was raining a little. The METS are playing at home at 1:00 ... or so they thought they were. Here is a picture of my backyard that I took about an hour ago.

Holy cow!

Here in central Maryland, we got some big, wet flakes late in the day yesterday after it had rained all day. But, not much accumulated and it's mostly all melted away this morning.

I feel for you, winter seems like it just won't end! Orioles will host the Red Sox today at 3 PM, forecast is sunny and low 60s.

That photo is shocking. It is 72 right now in Orlando, FL.

It is hard to imagine that just a few hours away by plane it looks like that.

Yeah ... for 6 innings at least. Back-to-back bases loaded walks by two Mets pitchers ... now the game is tied! Yup, that's why they are called the AMAZING Mets!!!!

Not lovable loosers anymore but just right lousy. How can a big met area put out such a lousy product?. My girls high school voleyball team drew more people than at tonights Mets game. Sandy Alderson please go back where you came from and who ever told you that you were a General manager.Take terry Collins and the rest of this crew with you. David Wright is like watching paint dry. Granderson should have stayed in the American league strikes out way to much. Give you one hint motivation, Emotion, Chemistry, Team has none of it. All of these players are lazy and way over paid. This sir is a product for New York Baseball?

Dear Mr Wilpon and Son if you keep putting out garbage sooner or later someone takes it away hopefully sooner. Makes you long for the days of Omar and Jason Bay. Also Sandy you are hoping for 90 the only 90 you will see is the weather temp in your Florida condo or the temp it might hit in the month of July or August in NY if you are still around. Same team couple of wins and everybody thinks they are great team batting average is disgusting lucky they will be 500 at the end of season . Only thing I can hope for is Ike Davis to have a big year and that will be a big slap in managements face yea who is the player named later in that deal. Da who did we get for Ike. nice value guys yea were is Jason Bay when you need him I would take him anyday over whiff boy himself Granderson. Yes Mets will not make playoffs with this regime. Terry Collins big time manager Wow what was other team did he manage for?
Please make a major trade for a real professional ballplayer instead of trying to play money ball in New York it does not work. Nice crowd lately it has picked up at least .01%.

Another win tonight. Mets are playing some good ball going 7-3 in the last 10 games.

The starting pitchers have been very solid as of late. Now we just need the bullpen to come together.
