Apmex is selling a $100 face value bag of average circulated Kennedy Halfs for $1986.00. Isn't that $450+ over the 71.5 oz of silver?

Like a lot of asking prices, they're offering it for sale. I don't know that they're selling any or many at that price.

Usually when they have multiples of any item it will show: x sold/ y available. There are none listed as sold.. dosen't look like they are selling any

First of all, you are not going to buy at spot. Let's get that out of our minds.

Next - silver halves are selling for a premium over dimes and quarters.

Now, $450 premium still sounds steep, but $2.00 over spot for halves at .715 rate seems fair.
