Apmex is selling a $100 face value bag of average circulated Kennedy Halfs for $1986.00. Isn't that $450+ over the 71.5 oz of silver?

Like a lot of asking prices, they're offering it for sale. I don't know that they're selling any or many at that price.

<< <i> Isn't that $450+ over the 71.5 oz of silver? >>
First of all, you are not going to buy at spot. Let's get that out of our minds.
Next - silver halves are selling for a premium over dimes and quarters.
Now, $450 premium still sounds steep, but $2.00 over spot for halves at .715 rate seems fair.
