I don't believe MCM deals in anything smaller than 1 oz silver bars.

You are correct. Did OP edit title to add "silver." Didn't notice it when I linked the gold.

As for as less than one ounce silver, probably not worth the premium when compared to the price of one ouncers.

I have the 10g Lunar Series made by Pamp. I had a bunch of JM, Engelhard, Pamp and Valcambi. Nice bars, I enjoyed them all and sold them for a profit.
It is not the best way to invest in silver, IMO, but it is fun and you have now more options than few years ago.
You may want to pick up some "breakable" by Valcambi or some Pamp in assay card (10g, 2.5g, 20g, etc...).
They all have high premium, though.

A piece of advice, if I may: please do not go with the 1-gram bars you find on eBay and you don't know who the manufacturer is.

  • NWTM, North West Territorial Mint, could be an option even though I read that they are slow in shipping.
I ownes few of their bars from 5g to 10oz, more PanAm than NWTM, and I like them.
