There will be other chances and possibly at a lower price. This one was pretty darn good though, I paid with my credit card for 1% cash back and got free shipping: $22.28/ea delivered.
<< <i>Yeah, Apmex is no dummy, they're trying real hard to get this metal out of their hands and into yours before the price goes up. >>
If the folks who run APMEX could predict the future, I doubt they'd be working for a living.

That price is $287.83 now (w shipping). Wasn't a bad deal at $225 for my level of buying. I'll sell of some generic at spot +1 to pay for it, and be happy for the trade. They do still have Buffalo's or apmex coins at 10 for $240 w shipping..
I used to get generic stuff at spot +1 at the pawn shop. And I still do. But the 'local Eagle premium' is just way to high now and this deal far cheaper and available. For higher premiums, I want new and guaranteed now, not circulated.
Now if they have 10oz Englehards local, at spot +1, I'm getting those, even if I have to sell my coat and shoes to get the cash.
<< <i>received my shipping notice.... wow that's quick considering the number of sets sold. >>
I got mine this morning as well. insane!
Ebay followed it up with a notice to expect delays in shipping due to inclement weather. >>
Bleh... today makes 2 full business days and no shipping notice for me. I know they had like 20,000 orders in 24 hours but it does say "fast and free shipping", after all...

Shipping notice received. Outstanding operation. The logistics must be incredible to pull that off and it shows they actually prepared and executed.

He is still upset by one of his own transactions and registered mail.
I got my notice on these the other day as well. Told to expect them on Monday. West Coast here, so no mail yet today, but may be today, or may be Monday. No worries either way. 2 in the albums, one as a gift, and the other 7 loose ones to have for a bit and a roll to store away.
Really? Name-calling? At least spell your insults correctly...
Hey I don't mind waiting - they did an enormous volume of sales. All I'm saying is maybe they shouldn't put the "fast" shipping designation on it. :-) >>
Paid on Tuesday. Some received today. My orders show Monday.
15,000+ orders. That is fast. For a deal that allowed you to get SAE's at $450 a roll via Paypal!
And you find something in that to complain about?
Ok you're not an infant. More like a 3yr old. Sellers beware.

Mine arrived today too. Only regretting I didn't get a roll of 20 rather than a half roll of ten...

<< <i>The deal before this was on the 17th of January . Might we infer that in about 2 weeks there will be another? >>
Probably not. Deal number one was to get rid of 2013's to make room for new 2014's. Deal number two probably included all the 2014's that didn't make it into a slab in APMEX's grading bulk orders. Since both NGC and PCGS graded 2014s are available on their website this sale probably included all of the non-slabbed ones. If there are more returning from the graders, we MAY see another sale, depends on how many they have and how well their raw coins are selling on their website.
"Interest rates, the price of money, are the most important market. And, perversely, they’re the market that’s most manipulated by the Fed." - Doug Casey
Received mine an hour ago. 30 coins. 20 in a mint green top container and 10 in an aftermarket type with Apmex's own logo on it.
Opened the one with 10 in it to take a few out to put in the books. Out of the 10, maybe 2-3 had small imperfections (ie...where another coin hit a spot and it had a "shine" to it). The others, well, maybe they did under a loupe, but nothing readily noticeable.
Given the timing of the 2014s being available and the timing of these being up on ebay and then getting into our hands, I think the conspiracy theorists are just wanting to see the dark side of things, again, and are not wholesale correct. I do think a vast number of these, if not all of them, were NOT sent in.
I don't send in the pure bullion plays, myself, anymore (not worth it as a small guy), but if I did, there are certainly a couple that I would have set aside for a closer look to send in.
In the volumes being played with, and again, the timing of all this, I just don't see them caring enough to set aside non 70s (and possibly non-69s) to sell to us like was done.
Got mine in Monday's mail. They look great and flawless to the naked eye. Really impressed with the quality.
FWIW, I noticed MCM was having the same sale with Maple Leafs and so I ordered a box while I was at it. The Maple Leafs 2014 "security" design is really cool in-hand, much more so then online IMO. And doesn't make the coins nearly as dark looking as the web photos might lead one to believe. They still shine with cartwheel luster. Anyway, they too arrived on Monday in great condition.
This deal is on eBay and has a special offer of $10 off the total order if 2 or more lots are purchased. >>
Yep. And I couldn't even give em away here for that. Did find a dealer who took a bunch from me at $500 a roll. Hang loose, you'll get em cheaper soon enough.

<< <i>Interesting, their website buy price is now $22.11.
I am in for 80+2 free coins. Will be patient on the shipping. >>
Weather might be a factor in shipping.
Been buying on Ebay since 2000.
The title is confusing...the description is clear (I think).
Best practice on Ebay is to make the listing as simple as possible.
Not complaining by the way as the deal is sound.
Great deal. The last 10 I bought from apmex came in a generic white tube.Anyway I am just out of cash so I have to let this one pass me by.
<< <i>10 for $288? what am I not seeing here? >>

$12 off LOL.
The real deal was 10 for $225 shipped.

Same here. My first 10 anyway...that I ordered on 02/04. APMEX shipped on 02/06 and I got a mint tube (half full) in a APMEX box this afternoon.
I ordered another 20 on 02/05 and those show shipped on 02/07.
EDIT: I corrected my order dates to 02/04 and 02/05. I left feedback just now and noticed I had posted a day off here........
<< <i>Anyone opened theirs and checked them? >>
Yep and mine look damn good. I'm not into the MS70 game but if I was there's a couple that have a shot. I'd call mine MS69 and not picked over.
