Put a dent in my Robin Yount Topps Master Set. Have most of the layups, now need to work on the tough stuff. I'm sure glad that those '85 mini and blank back tests are included in the registry. I love trying to chase cards that there are only a few of (take note of extreme sarcasm).

2014 is off to a good start 20% down 80% left to get done!
I already knocked off one of my big collecting goals this year when I purchased a PSA 5 1956 Mantle a week or so ago. My goal is to complete my run of top 30 Topps Baseball Cards from 1956-1985. I only need 1956 Aaron, Mays, Reese, Clemente and a 1967 Seaver to finish it. For Football, I am shooting to finish the top 18 from 1960 to 1986. I need 10 for 1962 and a bunch from the 80's. I would like to at least finish the 62's. I am also buying key baseball cards from the 30s and 40s. Mainly 1934-36 Diamond Stars and 1941 Play Ball.
<< <i>My goal for 2014 is to build a pristine 89 hoops set raw. ( no really I'm serious!) >>
That's awesome, shouldn't be terribly hard as those cards come out of the pack with sharp corners and clean surfaces, only thing that's tough is the centering. Another cool idea would be the Sears superstars set. Good luck!
I reserve the right to change this list at any time. As of now:
1. Keep working on my 1961 Fleer Basketball PSA 7 or better set (down to 16 left) 2. Add to my unopened collection without breaking the bank 3. Focus on my modern player collections: Lebron, Durant, Andrew Luck, possibly start a Mike Trout collection 4. Try to find a way to collect vintage HOF high grade PSA cards of any sport 5. Try to keep things funded for the new parts of my collection by selling parts of my collection I don't need 6. Make a good major purchase: PSA 9 Magic/Bird or high grade Gretzky RC or high grade BGS Star Jordan Rc
Need to finish one of these Topps Baseball sets, maybe 2
1961 - about 60% 1972 - about 70% 1973 - about 55%
I did take the first step and bought a lot of 1972 and 1973 cards from the buy sell trade forum ..... should be getting them this week so maybe the % will rise a bite for those sets
My goals are to A: Keep having fun B: Liquidate some sets I started but lost interest in C: Keep going nuts on some of the oddball sets I collect (1969 deckle edge, 1975 TCMA Yankees) Find more 1948 bowman baseball PSA/DNA cards E: Do something weird like break a case of 1991 topps looking for PSA 10 Chipper Jones Cards F: Keep having fun
I've been thinking about this a lot and have enjoyed reading everyone's goals.
I have two fundamental goals, eight collecting goals and three white whale dreams:
Fundamental Goals: 1. For 2013 collecting be cash neutral. Cash out for cards/memorabilia <= cash in from sales. [Borrowed from another poster; great idea] 2. Remain mindful that, in almost all instances, having two or more of the same item isn't much more enjoyable than having one. There are enough other things out there I would like to add that having duplicates shouldn't be a priority.
Collecting goals - reach four or more of the eight collecting goals for this year: 1. Make a dent in my 1978 Topps signed set (eight cards to go!) 2. Obtain a 1975 and/or 1976 Topps baseball wax box 3. Obtain at least one pre-1978 OPC baseball wax box 4. Obtain at least one 1970s cello or rack pack box 5. Obtain a graded 1952, 1954 or 1956 Topps wax pack 6. Obtain a Hank Aaron 1970s game used bat graded 8.5 or better 7. Obtain one significant game worn jersey from a HOF Padre or Charger, or Nolan Ryan or Pete Rose 8. Obtain a well-used Tony Gwynn fielder's glove
White whale dreams: 1. Rocky Graziano fight used item 2. 1968 or 1969 OPC baseball wax pack 3. 1971 OPC baseball wax box
Thought the mid-point of the year would be a good time to revisit this thread. Here's what I wrote originally:

I just completed goal #1 ('75 mini set). For the 1971 Topps Greatest Moments, i picked up 5 so I'm down to needing 9 (the ones I need are pretty tough - gotta stay patient). Nothing doing on Carew yet. Like many, I have not been as focused as I'd like to be. I did buy a bunch of 1971 Bazooka boxes, a few '64 Topps Stand Ups, some misc PSA graded HOFers and recently started a VG-EX 1955 Topps set (I bought a lot on eBay that psychump pimped on the BST board and got hooked).
1. Obtain a '59 Bazooka Jim Brown!! (ultimately to help complete the Jimmy master set) 2. Complete my raw '53 Bowman Football set in VG-EX and nicely centered condition. 3. Work on finishing my '80s PSA Browns Team registry sets 4. Free as many wrapped cards as I can afford 5. Get all my sets, extras and want lists better organized and up to date.
Scott >>
1. Done and DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2. Down to needing 10 cards to complete the set, but also require about 15 or so upgrades to bring all up to centering goal. 3. Slow and steady, not much happening except for self-submitted cards. 4. Need to improve on this! 5. Been lazy here, need to get on the ball before the National gets here.
<< <i>continue my heritage run of 1-2 complete sets of each year continue stashing Topps Heritage unopened cases (already ordered) continue my bad habit of buying tons of Heritage SP's and Chromes as they become available for a decent price finish up my 1969 raw EX-EX+ set finish up my 1975 mini raw EX+ set continue buying early to mid 80's unopened Topps wax/cellos/racks continue buying PSA 6-8 HOFer's from 50's-60's (maybe 3-4: Aaron, Mays, Banks, Mantle, McCovey, Killebrew, Santo, or Carew) continue working on 66-68 sets raw (EX-EX+)-Been working on these for many years and need to make some headway stop getting side tracked by new interests and products-stick with what I have started. >>
OK, I'm treading water. Here's my update: Heritage goals of 2 sets, holding cases and scooping up SP's is on track. Too much money but on track. 1969 raw setown to some 45-50 cards, picked up some large lots of nice quality from Mickey's Sports Cards. 1975 raw set: no improvement, probably some 100-150 cards away. wax/cellos/racks: A few here and there. The crazy price increase has slowed me down a bit. PSA HOFer's: Picked up a 55 Bowman Mays, Several more McCovey's, Banks, Snider, etc 1966-1968 sets: The only progress is my 68 set, down to needing 20 cards or so, including the Ryan I should of got years ago. Mickey's Sports Cards helped here too. Still working on my 50-60's multi-player HOF set, only need 4-5 more, most grading PSA 5-7 with an 8 here and there. Started a run of Topps League Leaders in a grade of 6-8, a fun but expensive task. I wanna start an NFL League Leaders too since I don't collect football but would like a few. I also jumped back to picking up some more Beatles cards in pretty good shape for some fair prices, had to bite!
CURRENT PROJECTS IN WORK: To be honest, no direction, but... 1966-69 Topps EX+ 1975 minis NrMt Kelloggs PSA 9 All Topps Heritage-Master Sets
<< <i>Will be very interesting to revisit this at the end of next year.
My goals are: 1. Complete my collection of OS Garbage Pail Kids unopened boxes. Except for the costly Series 1 which I have an empty box for display. So far I have 4 of the 15. 2. Complete the master sets with all variations of the original series 1-15. I "completed" every A/B version earlier this year. Now I want to get every glossy/matte, copyright/no copyright, */** and error card variations. This may be tough as most listings on Ebay don't specify or have no clue of any of these variations. I see a lot of buying, filtering and reselling leftover cards. 3. Complete my North Carolina Tar Heels basketball team calendars run from 1981/82 through 2013/14. I have 19 of the 33. 4. Display it all. Not only the collections above but all of my Dad's NASCAR racing items from when he worked for Holman Moody. I desperately need to get it all displayed and protected.
Good luck everyone! >>
It really is the thrill of the hunt for me with GPK. I've bought a bunch of lots off ebay just to sort through them and find the cards I need. Here's how I'm doing so far: 1. Done except to replace the "marked" boxes. 2. Master variations sets: I think I started last year with around 800+ cards needed? I'm now down to 331. Woohoo! Starting to sell off my extras to fund this one again. 3. Tar Heel Calendars: Now have 24 of 33. There are some on ebay that I need but the prices are way too high. Must. Be. Patient. 4. This one is my favorite. Dad's pit shirts from various racing teams within Holman Moody. Just a few now. Still have a few more to put in cases: Work shirt/pit shirt. These were in the attic for probably 30+ years. Time has not been kind to them. 1971 Bobby Allison pit crew shirt and Coca Cola pants Here he is guiding Bobby's #12 Holman Moody "Coke Machine" into the pits
Looking to buy/trade for any Holman Moody (NASCAR) related items you may have.
<< <i>Great post by the way! It's a good way to see how we can all help each other complete our goals for this next year.
Here's my top 5...
1. Finish my 1975 Topps Baseball set. 2. Get 1/4 of the way through the 1961 Golden Press baseball set with PSA 6's or higher. 3. Sub my 1956 Topps baseball checklists. 4. Organized all my modern stuff into sets and sell off the rest. 5. Rip at least one modern box with my oldest.
That's just the top 5 to start off with. >>
1. Just finished...WOO HOO!!! 2. Sold off what I had to fund the 75 set. 3. Subbed and sold. 4. Starting on it this weekend. 5. We ripped some stuff a month ago and it was fantastic.
1. Finish my 1955 topps set 1card left in psa 6 or 7 2. Finish the 1980 drake baseball sets 3. Get 50 percent thru the 1933 goudney in 3 or 4 psa 4. Loose Focus and buy things not in 1,2,3 above and Try again next year
1. Own at least one of every card Eric Plunk has been on. 50% done, with some of the hard to find ones bought. 2. Track down the Eric Plunk buyback red 1/1 (maybe not buy it, but at least find it so I know where it is). I own >25% of all the other buybacks of him. 3. Buy an autographed jersey or game used something of Mr. Plunk
4. Start working on Mike Alstott!
WTB: Eric Plunk cards, jersey (signed or unsigned), and autographs. Basically anything related to him
Well, I didn't reply to the original post but my goals this year were to continue to build out my set collections in PSA 8+. I managed to complete my 1970 set and have been continuing to fill in my '72-'76 sets. I'm currently complete from 1967 to 1971 and am starting to chip away at the '66 set. I'm 80%+ on all the sets from '72-76 and should knock a few more off this year. I also just completed my 1961 set in graded form. Had to settle for a PSA 7 Houk and PSA 9 PD Gentile for the time being.

Halfway through and it's a mixed bag:
1. I am down to 6 cards! And I knocked out all the big ones, including getting a well centered PSA 7 Wilt RC! 2. I have definitely added to my unopened collection (I haven't broken the bank, but it's definitely bent) 3. Added a lot of Durant and Luck cards and started a promising Anthony Davis collection. Never did start anything with Trout. 4. I have grabbed a couple 5. um... next 6. Sort of. I picked up the Wilt RC. That definitely qualifies. Would still like one of the three I listed at the beginning of the year.

I was thinking of posting an update on June 30, so I am happy to see this thread revived. I have done really well so far.
My fundamental goals are on track: cash neutral and sold off most of my duplicates. Had to sell a couple of major items, but it helped me refocus on what I have found I enjoy the most. I don't regret the sales.
Of my eight collecting goals, I wanted to hit four of them and have done that already. Covered 1, 3, 4 and 7. I still hope to cover 2 and possibly 6 or 8 the second half of this year. Just haven't seen 6 or 8. In place of 8, I was able to obtain a Gwynn rookie era game used bat that I received just a few says before he passed away, so it's bittersweet. As a San Diego native that grew up with Tony, it's still difficult to accept that he is gone.
No white whale dreams realized. None have appeared... yet!
I've was out of the card collecting game, but was bored around the new year and started poking around ebay. Decided to buy a couple rookie cards that I always wanted as a kid (Steve Yzerman, Barry Sanders). And I got sucked in....started watching and winning auctions of players I grew up idolizing....and then I drawn into the PSA grading. Over the past 5 months, I've amassed a pretty cool collection of rookie cards. I'm currently running out of ideas of players to collect next. I've started to end up with multiples of my fav players from my youth and have started selling some on ebay.
My goals are to get the attic at my parents house and see what kind of cards I have stashed away (mostly early 90s garbage) and maybe upgrade the grades on the collection below. Also, I will probably add a Magic Johnson/Dr. J/Larry Bird rookie card. I'd like to add a 1954 Gordie Howe Parkhurst if I can find a sweet deal.

<< <i>My goal is to stay on track with my new collecting focus. I sold almost everything off the past few months. I would like to stay focused on my HOF PSA rookie card set, graded Mantle and Clemente cards, 52 topps raw, and unopened baseball. >>
So much for staying on track... I sold all my raw 52 topps and im in the process of selling all my unopened. Though i have added to my HOF rookie set and my mantle and clemente cards. And I started collecting other PSA baseball rookie cards of non hall of famers.
What I Collect:
PSA HOF Baseball Postwar Rookies Set Registry- (Currently 80.51% Complete)
PSA Pro Football HOF Rookie Players Set Registry- (Currently 19.80% Complete)
PSA Basketball HOF Players Rookies Set Registry- (Currently 6.02% Complete)
<< <i>Primary goal is to get myself organized. That means getting all the checklists together for all the cards I am collecting, and then inventory everything.
Secondary goals are to complete the this year sets that I have compiled over the last couple of months. And these would be the first sets I ever completed by hand. I am close on the 2013 Topps BB base, 2013 Topps BB Update, and 2013-14 OPC hockey.
BTW - I have been helping one of my nephews start in the hobby and he is a huge baseball card collector. This year, the youngest nephew (10 yo today - Happy Birthday Joey!!) announced he wants to get into collecting hockey cards. He has been so excited getting the cards, and I helped Santa get him 1100+ cards from Dave and Adam's. So a third goal would be to help him (and his brother) further their interests in the hobby. I missed out on the BBCE offer (which was great) but to hear the happiness in Joey's voice when he calls and tells me about how he got almost all the cards into their pages is awesome. >>
Lessee, organized - not so much. Unless you count all the cards that matter are in one place??
2013 Topps base and update - nope 2013-14 OPC hockey - this one I should be filling out over the next week. Am on vacation and have carved out some time to find the marquee rookies I am missing.
By big goal for this year (realized after original post) is to finish a 1974 Topps baseball set. That was the year I started collecting and what better way to celebrate 40 years in the hobby? I am about 1/3 through, and got a big chunk recently thanks to DanBessette (thanks Dan!!)
My nephew?? Well, President's Day weekend I spent 2 hours on the phone with him talking hockey cards and apparently made his year (according to his mother). Now?? Pok-e-mon rules. For now. We'll see what happens when it gets colder again (and he is 10 after all).
Goals for rest of year - biggest is completing the '74 set. Anything beyond that is gravy.

Well it's that time of year again where I don't think I can do anymore and have to look back and see what I've done. I think 2014 was a great year for my collection, it was certainly a great year for the value of my collection. Let's see how I did:
1). I did make it and just in time to win the 2014 registry award. I had been looking for the Brett auto card for years and was so excited to get my submission back in a 10 2000 UD hitters club registry sets
2). I didn't make this one, I haven't been able to find a full 1992 basketball much less the older years. 2a). Small victory I did get my Jordan ticket
3). I did add a Bird/Magic pack this year, a couple '81 Bird packs and a few Jordan sticker 1986 packs. I see this goal transferring over to 2015 too as my collection has some big holes to fill still. If anyone happens to have any HOF rookie card showing basketball packs let me know. 2015 is right around the corner.
4). Yes, yeah another year making it out on top with clearly my second favorite registry set put together pack by pack from scratch.
5). I did add a Fleer Bonds 10 pack this year. The 10s I have left to get seem to be 1 of 1s so this set May be here for a while. It is such a wonderful set to put together I encourage anyone who collected in the 1980s to pick up a pack or two of your favorite player and join this registry!!
2014.....4 out of 5 isn't too bad. Can't wait for 2015 I will have to put some thought into next years top 5.
Wow, thanks for bumping this...I forgot that I had posted this at the end of 2013! I continued to have almost no focus whatsoever....but I DID complete my Nolan Ryan run of 70s Topps cards(Woo Hoo)!
<< <i>Goals aren't changing much. I'm gonna keep my focus on unopened boxes/packs as well as my 90's Jordan insert BGS 9.5 collection. >>
I stayed true to my goals. I got a few 80's unopened; 81 fleer wax, 82 donruss wax, 84 topps wax, 84 opc wax, 85 topps wax (in 81 box).
Also picked up a bunch of BGS jordan cards, some worth noting 92-93 fleer total d BGS 9, 95-96 e-xl no boundaries BGS 9.5 and lastly, I picked up my very first Michael Jordan fleer rookie card. It's currently at Beckett, it's low grade probably around 4.5.
1. Finish my 1975 Topps Baseball set. FINISHED!!! With the help of many here...thank you! 2. Get 1/4 of the way through the 1961 Golden Press baseball set with PSA 6's or higher. SOLD WHAT I BOUGHT. I lost interest. 3. Sub my 1956 Topps baseball checklists. SUBBED AND SOLD!!! 4. Organized all my modern stuff into sets and sell off the rest. Ummm...didn't get anywhere with this. 5. Rip at least one modern box with my oldest. WE CAME, WE SAW, WE RIPPED!!!
Last year I wrote "This will be the year I finally get my Nolan Ryan rookie in an 8 along with Jeter SP in a 9. "
Didn't get the Nolan (yet) and it doesn't look like it will be happening this year ...but I did pick up the Jeter.
I have stepped back a bit from collecting this year to focus on other things that need attention but if I pick up one card this year, it will be the Nolan. I am going to start saving for it and try to get me a nice one. I think its a card that everyone would want in their collection.

That was me in January. Here's the reality:
1 - 75 mini set is complete. 2 - Nice progress in the 71 TGM set: Down from needing 14 to needing 8. 3 - No Carew rookie card. Since the beginning of the year, I started a '55 Topps set which now needs about 30 cards to complete.
<< <i>My goal for 2014 is to build a pristine 89 hoops set raw. ( no really I'm serious!) >>
I don't think I'll make my Hoops goal I'm about 70 cards short on the pristine set. I think I need to find and rip another series one case case to finish this set off. It's starting to get expensive though I already ripped 3 cases lol!
didn't really set much in the way of goals for the year, however, in my attempt to be submission-free it will be another 3+ weeks and done.
it's been a nice challenge trying to accumulate great raw cards as the competition for such has strengthened somewhat. in a typical year, i'll spend roughly 15K purchasing stuff on eBay, but this year will be closer to 12K or so.
a few of those auction losses left a minor scar. oh well. spent more on unopened material than ever before. some good purchases and a little rippage for kicks.
overall, gained a lot more perspective. no clue for next year, either.

Good luck!

1. Keep working on my 1961 Fleer Basketball PSA 7 or better set (down to 16 left)
2. Add to my unopened collection without breaking the bank
3. Focus on my modern player collections: Lebron, Durant, Andrew Luck, possibly start a Mike Trout collection
4. Try to find a way to collect vintage HOF high grade PSA cards of any sport
5. Try to keep things funded for the new parts of my collection by selling parts of my collection I don't need
6. Make a good major purchase: PSA 9 Magic/Bird or high grade Gretzky RC or high grade BGS Star Jordan Rc
1961 - about 60%
1972 - about 70%
1973 - about 55%
I did take the first step and bought a lot of 1972 and 1973 cards from the buy sell trade forum ..... should be getting them this week so maybe the % will rise a bite for those sets
My goals are to
A: Keep having fun
B: Liquidate some sets I started but lost interest in
C: Keep going nuts on some of the oddball sets I collect (1969 deckle edge, 1975 TCMA Yankees)
Find more 1948 bowman baseball PSA/DNA cards
E: Do something weird like break a case of 1991 topps looking for PSA 10 Chipper Jones Cards
F: Keep having fun
Configure, organize and populate my "card area"
I have two fundamental goals, eight collecting goals and three white whale dreams:
Fundamental Goals:
1. For 2013 collecting be cash neutral. Cash out for cards/memorabilia <= cash in from sales. [Borrowed from another poster; great idea]
2. Remain mindful that, in almost all instances, having two or more of the same item isn't much more enjoyable than having one. There are enough other things out there I would like to add that having duplicates shouldn't be a priority.
Collecting goals - reach four or more of the eight collecting goals for this year:
1. Make a dent in my 1978 Topps signed set (eight cards to go!)
2. Obtain a 1975 and/or 1976 Topps baseball wax box
3. Obtain at least one pre-1978 OPC baseball wax box
4. Obtain at least one 1970s cello or rack pack box
5. Obtain a graded 1952, 1954 or 1956 Topps wax pack
6. Obtain a Hank Aaron 1970s game used bat graded 8.5 or better
7. Obtain one significant game worn jersey from a HOF Padre or Charger, or Nolan Ryan or Pete Rose
8. Obtain a well-used Tony Gwynn fielder's glove
White whale dreams:
1. Rocky Graziano fight used item
2. 1968 or 1969 OPC baseball wax pack
3. 1971 OPC baseball wax box
<< <i>In no particular order:
1 - Finish near mint 1975 Topps mini set that a CU member gave me a great head start on (collecting the HOFers in PSA 8 and the rest ungraded).
2 - Continue to work on 1971 Topps Greatest Moments set (down to needing 14 but I know this will still take a few years).
3 - Pick up a nice Rod Carew rookie card. >>
How about updates from other board members?
<< <i>Here are my top 5...
1. Obtain a '59 Bazooka Jim Brown!! (ultimately to help complete the Jimmy master set)
2. Complete my raw '53 Bowman Football set in VG-EX and nicely centered condition.
3. Work on finishing my '80s PSA Browns Team registry sets
4. Free as many wrapped cards as I can afford
Not too bad overall, #1 was the a biggie for me.
Scott
<< <i>continue my heritage run of 1-2 complete sets of each year
continue stashing Topps Heritage unopened cases (already ordered)
continue my bad habit of buying tons of Heritage SP's and Chromes as they become available for a decent price
finish up my 1969 raw EX-EX+ set
finish up my 1975 mini raw EX+ set
continue buying early to mid 80's unopened Topps wax/cellos/racks
continue buying PSA 6-8 HOFer's from 50's-60's (maybe 3-4: Aaron, Mays, Banks, Mantle, McCovey, Killebrew, Santo, or Carew)
continue working on 66-68 sets raw (EX-EX+)-Been working on these for many years and need to make some headway
stop getting side tracked by new interests and products-stick with what I have started. >>
OK, I'm treading water. Here's my update:
Heritage goals of 2 sets, holding cases and scooping up SP's is on track.
PSA HOFer's: Picked up a 55 Bowman Mays, Several more McCovey's, Banks, Snider, etc
1966-1968 sets: The only progress is my 68 set, down to needing 20 cards or so, including the Ryan I should of got years ago.
To be honest, no direction, but...

<< <i>Will be very interesting to revisit this at the end of next year.
My goals are:
Here's how I'm doing so far:
Still have a few more to put in cases:
Work shirt/pit shirt. These were in the attic for probably 30+ years. Time has not been kind to them.
1971 Bobby Allison pit crew shirt and Coca Cola pants
Here he is guiding Bobby's #12 Holman Moody "Coke Machine" into the pits
2. Finish the 1980 drake baseball sets
3. Get 50 percent thru the 1933 goudney in 3 or 4 psa
Positive BST: WhiteThunder (x2), Ajaan, onefasttalon, mirabela, Wizard1, cucamongacoin, mccardguy1
Negative BST: NONE!
<< <i>I reserve the right to change this list at any time. As of now:
6. Make a good major purchase: PSA 9 Magic/Bird or high grade Gretzky RC or high grade BGS Star Jordan Rc >>
Halfway through and it's a mixed bag:
1. I am down to 6 cards! And I knocked out all the big ones, including getting a well centered PSA 7 Wilt RC!
2. I have definitely added to my unopened collection (I haven't broken the bank, but it's definitely bent)
3. Added a lot of Durant and Luck cards and started a promising Anthony Davis collection. Never did start anything with Trout.
4. I have grabbed a couple
5. um... next

None have appeared... yet!

2013 Topps base and update - nope
2013-14 OPC hockey - this one I should be filling out over the next week.

I had been looking for the Brett auto card for years and was so excited to get my submission back in a 10
2000 UD hitters club registry sets

<< <i>In 2014 I will start selling off my collection. >>
Sad, but true. I recently sold off about a half-dozen of my Chicago Bears HOF RC collection, and have a few others listed in the BST forum now.
Here's what I put down...
4 out of 5...not bad.
I just want to complete my 71 topps set and upgrade it, in raw and graded. DONE
Then finish my 75 mini set RAW and add a few cards to my 61 topps set in nm. DONE AND DID ADD TO MY 61 SET SO. DONE.
I think its a card that everyone would want in their collection.

it's been a nice challenge trying to accumulate great raw cards as the competition for such has strengthened somewhat. in a typical year, i'll spend roughly 15K purchasing stuff on eBay, but this year will be closer to 12K or so.
a few of those auction losses left a minor scar. oh well. spent more on unopened material than ever before. some good purchases and a little rippage for kicks.
overall, gained a lot more perspective. no clue for next year, either.
