Thank you everyone! I was asked if I would post some coins that I've acquired since this thread. I haven't found many replacement Indian cents, since I'm pretty satisfied with my Indian cent set, but my Lincoln set has a lot of holes that still need filling. Also, I've come across a few neat errors that I've added to my collection, so here are some of my "newps":

    Very nice!

Hard to pick a favorite from that group but I'll go with the 1894/1894 because of the fantastic tone!

Charmy always has the choicest Cents - she has an eye - and her "Third Eye" is

the "Eagle Eye" aka: Richard....who has taught her much of what she knows.

They make a great team. Although they do not actually work together. Over the years,

I have had the pleasure of buying IHC's & Flying Eagles from them when I was active

in those series. Everyone of my purchases was pleasurable. Highly recommend them, both.

Wow! You have exquisite taste in coins. What a collection of my favorite coppers. Thanks for sharing. BTW, what caused the rope rim effect on the 64L IHC?

Charmy has an advantage over most of us in that she has established a business that attracts candidates for her collection. She's is certainly "Charm"ing and sharing with her discoveries. People seek her out with their "unique" treasures to be included in her collection, for a fair price. To wrap it up, she's perfect for this gift!

A little syrupy, but the truth.

Amazing...If you could find the time, I would like to know how you balance being a collector and a dealer. What is your approach, thought process, how long, and how it developed. What regrets you might have on selling certain pieces whether emotional, financial, etcc... Regrettably, I lack such focus and cash flow and forever stuck in a continuous loop of flipping coins for my latest, greatest pursuit.

I bought a lovely 1972 DDO cent in PCGS MS-64RD from Charmy in Baltimore in November.

I really liked it as it had great flashy luster with a couple of very minor small imperfections. i still felt it had a solid chance with CAC. Charmy gave me a great price on it too.

Results back from CAC is that it received a green sticker.

I do not have pics but hope that Charmy saved her picture.

    Thanks Charmy!
