2014 and the mint is striking new issues -- if no spots, have they already lost you?

How many have stopped collecting new coins, circulating or NCLT or both, due to the varying spot issues each has?

Could the mint get people back if the coins are issued spot free?

Now milk spots show up after, but perhaps they figure out prevention.

I'll buy only to stack or flip, but not to collect.

    Huh?

Its not the mint's fault that folks over extended themselves buying MS/PR70 slabbed NCLT coins that spot after the fact.

For that matter, "milk spots" have been occurring on collector coins since the early 60's with no effect on the collecting communities future plans.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I don't buy clad Proof sets any more, not because of spots, but because you lose money on them just about every year. If a collector wants, you can wait a couple years and buy it for less.

As for milk spots, I can't recall seeing very many of them on any of the coins that I leave in the mint packaging. I don't know if that has anything to do with anything, but that's been my experience.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

If the mint figured out what caused milk spots and switched processes...

And what about business strikes? It's squared as hard to find a clean coin with no hits and not marks. I dream of the days of just no Spots wile hits are the only challenge.

And it is not only cents, I've even pulled quarters with spots regularly.
