1928-s Peace gorgeous strike!

Just wanted to share this pick up. It was part of a small junk silver dollar lot i bought locally. I paid more for this obviously. I initially wanted to just sell it but now that I've had a few people drool all over it (including the guy who photographed it), I'm tempted to just hang on to it.

But to each his own.

<< <i>If you can look past the cleaning, then yeah, the strike is hammered. Personally, it's hard for me to appreciate the strike of a problem coin...
But to each his own.
why is it so hard?
<< <i>Doesn't look cleaned to me, but it looks like a 28-D, as opposed to S. I could be wrong. solid strike!! >>
In that case, I'll plan on quitting my job tomorrow. This would be the only 28-D in existence. As far as I know, no 28-Ds were ever struck.
Something is wrong here! Did you shoot the wrong reverse?
It's also an AU coin, and if it is the 'S", not worth much. Now if it is a "D", not worth anything!

I like it.
At the same time it's not a bad looking coin when you reduce the image.
AU details, cleaned.
My Early Large Cents
As far as I know, no 28-Ds were ever struck.
...at least not in this country.....
I too think it's AU and cleaned.

I'd sell it to the photographer who liked it so much. And find another photographer.
Lance.
