The answer, in 10 years, probably depends on the bullion market more than anything.

they trade with spot. if there are plenty available on the market then you will see them trade with a premium over spot. The fewer on the market, the larger the premium.

There are better investments than grade rarity bullion where the population of 70s are high.

that said, I own one as part of my 2013 buffalo all 70s set.

It depends on actual rarity, promotions, and the price of gold.

The lower the price of gold goes the better the premium on these, assuming they have long term demand to support premiums in the first place.
If the price of gold eventually goes beyond the all time high again, you can expect the premiums on these to shrink drastically.

To better understand the 'grade' market and how rarity plays into it, take a look at American Silver Eagles (2nd edition) and look at the various years and MS/PR prices.... very enlightening..... then relate it to the gold coin (AGE/Buffalo) market... Cheers, RickO

It is interesting to note that as the price of gold bullion goes up, the numismatic value goes down for items that derive much of their value from their metal content. I've seen very short periods when circulated $20 gold pieces were selling for less than their melt value. The reason for that was that everybody and his brother figured that the gold bullion price was going to drop very soon, and the collectors with some brains did not want to get caught holding the bag.

I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

It is mostly an ounce of gold, so if gold is a good investment, the coin is a good investment.

It seems that there is some money being made by splitting hairs over the
value difference between MS69 and MS70 moderns, but that is not for me
and many others. It is mostly marketing.
