It may be worn, but it is now mine! 1796 Bust Dime in PCGS AG-3

Stopped by my local B&M dealer and he had this 1796 Draped Bust Dime as a recent addition in his stock. I normally look for Draped Bust Quarters and currency but this just made me drool (and the price was right). It is certified by PCGS as AG-3. I figure that I can't go wrong with the first dime minted by our country in a no problem state. I just wanted to share it with the board before it went to live with its cousins in the SDB.

Looks very much like the one I bought last year,
same variety and everything (JR6) with the die cracks through the date and from the rim to the wing through the ST of states on the reverse

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

If this dime had been made the way that dimes were made in the 1820s and especially in the 1830s, it would easily grade as a Good. The trouble with this pieces is that they have no protective rim, especially on the reverse. Therefore the lettering on the reverse received the brunt of the wear.
The reverse of this 1805 dime illustrates the point. If this piece had been circulation for several years, the word "UNITED" and probably the rest of the legend would have been badly worn.
Based on the rotated dies 11 O'clock on the Reverse rim to the eagles neck and 4 O'clock Obverse rim to Ms. Liberty's chin.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
Broadstruck, Baley put it well on page 1 of this post: "same variety and everything (JR6) with the die cracks through the date and from the rim to the wing through the ST of states on the reverse."
So, yes, the reverse has the die crack.
On my obverse, what appears at about 3:30-4:00, is toning on the coin.
Hoard the keys.
