"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." (Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. (Putin 1/17) Gone but not forgotten. IGWT, Speedy, Bear, BigE, HokieFore, John Burns, Russ, TahoeDale, Dahlonega, Astrorat, Stewart Blay, Oldhoopster, Broadstruck, Ricko, Big Moose, Cardinal.
Do they have to be mine? I missed out on these two a couple months ago (actually priced out during auction) but they remain two of my favorites to look at:
"In the absence of the gold standard, there is no way to protect savings from confiscation through inflation [...] Gold stands in the way of this insidious process. It stands as a protector of property rights." - Alan Greenspan
I bought this coin at a small Atlanta show in October 1982. Years later I sent it to our host for certification. Although I have many OGHs, this is my favorite, due to its lustrous originality and long history. The images are courtesy of BluCC Photos.
Pardon my ignorance, but what does "OGH" stand for? I can't see any pattern to the coins have been posted here. Acronyms sometimes drive me crazy.

A few years ago this coin would not have qualified as an "OGH" coin. After seeing the usual pieces that are around on borse tables today, at least it rate an "Oh go to heck!"
This is an S-11c, the planchet defects are not unusual for the variety. The copper that was used in the late summer of 1793 was pretty ratty. There is a 1793 C-4 half cent, which was made at about the same time, in the Cohen book that has split in half from a huge lamination.
It is now in an NGC holder that over grades it by 10 to 15 points.

Maybe not my favorite, but a coin I like a lot. Semi-prooflike:
