I had no idea "drama queen" was some kind of big insult to anyone. Announcing an announcement is a little over the top. The phrasing was intentionally dramatic. Then there's actually no change for 90%+ of the audience who was given the teaser. So the light hearted ribbing "drama queen" works here imo. I'd be shocked to hear it offended anyone at bbce. It's not a huge deal....
I think it's great to see their success. I'm very happy the place I spend most of my extra cash will continue to be around in an accessible format and I can't wait for the next rip. Hope that's all okay with the class patrol.

Hey guys, How about...good luck, best wishes with your new endeavor and congrats! Not everything has to have something in it for you. When someone announces their engagement, graduation, job promotion.....congratulations!!
I know I'm new here so mostly read but it's the few that manage to turn just about anything into a negative or a complaint that keeps me and prob others away. Just my humble opinion
Steve has treated us and me very well. It's a two way street. I'm happy for him. Though it seems sum wants it to be a one way street. Congrats all at bbce! Rob
Steve is one of the nice guys in the hobby. I have been buying from him since the days of his SCD auctions (1995?). Just recently let me put an expensive card (to me at least) on layaway and had the patience of Job waiting for the payments.. I wish him the best and for what its worth who here doesn't miss the local card shops around? This could possible be the best one out there....
For me, this is great news. I can now drive an hour and a half to his store to spend my children's college funds instead of waiting for shipping. This is a win.
Happy for him. He deserves all the success and is nothing but a good guy every time I see him.

Congrats to Steve and BBCE! Was hoping they'd go further east, LOL!

<< <i>Road trip to Indiana!! They don't happen to sell Yuengling there too?? We don't get that here in Michigan. >>
no Yuengling, but you don't have to slum it with Yuengling as Three Floyd's is right down the road in Munster. If you're from MI you may be familiar with (the fantastic) Bell's Brewery in K-zoo...or even Founders up in Grand Rapids. This is pretty much IN's version. Their American Pale Ale (dubbed Zombie Dust) pretty consistently ranks right up with Heady Topper on the top beer lists.
<< <i>Retail Brick & Mortar Store...with the news of lack of space in the warehouse, the only thing they are missing is a retail floor space. So they will likely move into a larger location and "open new doors".
Website sales ebay sales PSA authentication Box authentication (likely start to grade "from sealed case" like GAI used to do) Retail store-it's all they are missing. >>
What do I win?
Now that Steve has a store front, I'm hoping they get those resale licenses from Topps and Panini. The internet is a big place and the "new thing" are these LIVE group/box breaks. Look for BBCE to move into that arena. I know there are old school collectors here that disagree with someone else opening boxes but that's what's rolling inventory over for these larger card websites. I just took part in a few grup rips and watched 50 cases of Topps Chrome and Bowman Chrome broken in the last 30 days. If you're into newer rookies and prospects, vet players or teams, it's the way to go. I'd rather spend $40 on every Yankees card in a 12 box case than $80 on one box. If you're wondering, I collect everything from vintage to modern.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Congrats to Steve and his crew. There is just an astonishing amount of modern being bought and sold. Case breaks are like the new norm for many. I'm sure the store will do quite well, and confident Steve will get great contracts with Panini, Topps, etc.

I'll second swinging by Three Floyd's when in the area, they got some great stuff!
Congrats to Steve and the gang, I look forward to checking out the new store.

The bad part of this new move is that I will now have to pay sales tax on group rips.
