Be aware of PP spoof email doing your PRECIOUS METALS transactions

Looks like serious stuff, ohhh snap, I better click on one of the many links provided for my benefit so I can keep doing my Precious Metals transactions (I mentioned Precious Metals, so that makes this thread relevant to talk about here image ... from service@paypall.com. Notice there are 2 L's.

There isn't a thing wrong with my account. Please be aware of this spoof email from someone you did a transaction with that you no longer "get along with" now trying to take down your computer by clicking on one of the links. It's copied word for word. Mentions this is my second reminder, when I never got a first. LOL

"Please be aware of this spoof email from someone you did a transaction with that you no longer "get along with" now trying to take down your computer by clicking on one of the links"

Are you implying it was sent by someone from these boards or elsewhere?

I never click on links on the emails I receive. If there is a problem, their wesite will show it up.

Mariner67, the fact that there is a name, as also OPA said, implies that whomever sent the email has access to more information than a simple email address.
It could be on this forum, on eBay, etc...

What nibanny said would be my exact same reply to you, or anyone else wondering about what you/they may feel what I am implying:

The timing of me receiving this and the recent fallout I had with a member here is more than a coincidence, but I can prove nothing (at this point), it's just my opinion. Take it for what you feeel it's worth. The member has shown time and again on the legit things posted here that he is more than capable to pull it off. He is very computer savvy.

I got that one and have had others. I just delete them. Don't even bother to report them
    anymore.

Replied asking for mailing address so we could wire them the extra $500,000,000.00 which was accidentally transferred into our account.

Whenever you get those, the best thing is to close all windows and browsers, clear your cache and history and log in to your PP account. Or just delete the email.
