Late Night Pack Rips: 1974 OPC wax pack NOLAN RYAN PULLED! *GRADES IN*

Going to open a couple of 77 wax packs tonight--2 raw 77 wax and one GAI 8 77 opc wax pack. Results coming up!


Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    Calgary, I don't usually give in to the ripping urge, but it has been a while...I have also found that ripping packs and studying the way the cards come out of the pack to be helpful when judging unopened product in general.

    Actually, you are a bit psychic as I am waiting for a bunch of 78 cellos to arrive along with some 78 racks..

    OK, first up, the 2 77 wax Topps wax packs. Ten card per pack. Not much star power (couple minor HOFers), but both packs were nice and clean with no surprises. I am tempted to rip more if these were still at 2010 prices, lol..

    First, the 15 cards that didn't qualify for card saver status, lol..if anyone thinks any of these are worth subbing, feel free to hime in, as I am not terribly familiar with the nuances of the 77 set.

    OK, 77 OPC wax pack ripped. 8 cards total, most OC, but a couple nice surprises. Love the rough cut on these! The Eastwick looks great on front but there is the slightest trace of grass on back which I'm assuming will saddle it with the MC qualifier, Tom?

    I card savered the Rivers but now realize it is too OC to submit. But don't fret, Tom, the best card is yet to come! And guess what?? You CALLED IT!!

    RYAN #65!! A bit OC L/R but a very exciting pull nevertheles! All corne4rs are sharp. Surfaces are nice, too.
