Lots of sports stars and a baseball card episode on Married With Children. Good spoofs and parodies like their take of Miller Lite's tastes great/Less filling fight and Eight Men Out. Some guest appearances I can remember were:
Ernie Banks Johnny Bench Joe Namath Ken Stabler Erik Kramer Curtis Conway Raymont Harris John Reynolds Bubba Smith Terry Bradshaw Ed Too Tall Jones Mike Piazza Steve Carlton Joe Morgan Dave Winfield Frank Thomas Bret Saberhagen Clyde drexler Vlade Divac Xavier McDaniel Roy Jones Jr. Todd Christiensen King Kong Bundy The beatuiful GLOW girls and the not so beautiful Big Bad Momma! James “JB” Brown too!
A young pre-90210, pre bald-spot Ian Ziering was in the Eight Men Out parody and remember there was a pre-Friends Matt LeBlanc too in the "hmm hmm him" song episode.
Speaking if icons, I've tried saving one of my own images and uploading it, but I keep getting an error message saying that the file is too big no matter how small I edit the pic. Does anyone know how to successfully upload their own image as an avatar?

One more that was almost sort of a sports star cameo, when Al Bundy was mistaken for Red Grange (even though he was obviously dead by then).

<< <i>Good, no one is using a search engine. Think old school FOX. >>
Was I not correct? That photo looks pretty obvious.
but....I didn't eat no body.
<< <i>Bud is correct. Hopefully another Married W/ Children fan. Living in IL, I was torn between this or The Chicago Cannibal! >>
The Bundy kitchen in the background with him holding the phone made an instant click for me. I think he used the phone as a mic if I remember right.

Red Grange? Ridiculous. Bronko Nagurski on the other hand...
I thought Bud trying to get all jiggywidit was when MWC jumped the proverbial shark... little did I know Seven would soon join the family.
However, I was willing to overlook that (and truth be told way, way more) in order to see Kelly Bundy every Sunday night.
