Okay, just finished opening the rest of them. The 2nd half was no match for the 1st half of the rip. Absolutely nothing really. This box didn't contain 1 Puckett. No complaints overall because 3 Clemens is about 2 more than I expected in the first place.
Love the Strawberrys but all of them came OC the same exact way. The Mattingly looks sharper than the 1st one. PSA 10 rounds out at about 10 which is surprising since its his 2nd year and his 1st Donruss issue card from the year before in a 10 is pretty huge.
Thats everything that came in the last 16-17 packs. Compared to the 1st group of packs I ripped, this one had no chance in comparison. Still fun overall.
Before I close, I just want to give a BIG THANK YOU to Jeff (Big80's) for the contest and for sending out the boxes (and very quickly might I add). I was never a big fan of the Leaf series but I have to say that this was a blast and I had a great time ripping tonight. I've never even opened 85 Donruss even so this was pretty awesome I have to say. Thank you again for your kind gesture towards me and others on this board. Very thoughtful in deed.
Awesome work guys! Thank you for sharing those rips on the board. And a big thanks to all of the board members for seven years and 2,000 posts worth of fun!
<< <i>The collation on 85 Leaf seems extreme. I opened a box a few months back and got 5 Clemens and 4 Pucketts but not a single Gooden or Ryan. >>
I guess I did pretty good then Arthur with 2 Pucketts and Ryans with a Clemens. No Gooden though, but Marc was nice enough to trade me a pack with Gooden showing for one I got with Strawberry showing.
I don't know if this is against the rules Jeff, but I saved five other packs from being ripped. I got ones with Brett, Carter, Dawson, Seaver, and Winfield showing. Other than the Seaver pack which I needed for my unopened collection, I could be talked into ripping the other ones.

Thank you Jeff for the contest and sharing the boxes!!! I had a blast, but now I need to see what I am missing as I want to put together a nice raw set out of these.
But I still haven't changed my stance on ripping, lol.

Whew. Very glad to know that you didn't have to be resuscitated!!
In all seriousness, I enjoyed the poo out of that rip from afar. Amazing the thrill you still receive even when it's done vicariously. And last but not least, another shout-out to Jeff........that was one hell of a gesture on his part.

The Gehrig is a good looking card, but it appeared to be relatively common in the boxes I opened.

Ill post some scans here in a few minutes.
I'll add pictures tomorrow night, but in the meantime I will say that I had the following hits listed by pack.
A second Carew and Carlton.
A Yount.
A second Reggie and Winfield.
A Henderson and my first Clemens.
A Joe Morgan.
A Strawberry and a second Phil Niekro.
A Schmidt and Boggs.
Oops!!! I opened a pack with Carter on back.
Got a Goose.
Hit a second Carter.
A second Rollie and Ryan combo.
Nailed a second Kirby along with a second Ozzie. Mr. Puckett is coming your way Marc.
A second Pete Rose.
A second Goose, I guess I have geese now.
A second Eddie Murray.
That is all. No Gooden love for me, but I did get two Pucketts, two Ryans, and a Puckett.

Also there were ZERO Ripken base cards! Well, that's because it doesn't exist for some reason.
