Do any of you guys buy bullion and pay by credit card?

Most of the bullion dealers take credit cards but you lose the cash discount and you have to pay a 3% or so premium. I can't imagine too many people paying by credit card with this penalty. I have one coin club buddy that pays by credit card but he is very impatient and figures that a credit card is safer.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

Though, sometimes when I find good deals on small purchases or need to push the payment back to the next month, I use my cc.
<< <i>I usually pay with personal check, too much convenient. 3% in bullion is a lot.

i do to as well sometimes. i try not to cause of the 3% but it does come in handy
As stated, about 3% less with a check.
Longer to receive but worth the savings.
Stacking for longer term so never need them fast.
I have used CC with Gainesville my last 2 buys (I gave the wrong CC once & tried to change it the next day. They would not let me, so was a little mad about that as I'm working on getting Air Miles to take wife to Hawaii
With MCM can do a "direct bank to bank" transfer, so no extra cost like a wire fee, so that works best for me !!! (and great service!!!)
Blessings
On the flip side, using a CC ships faster and some CC's offer a point system. All about preference I suppose.
On the less common occasions when I purchase from Gainesville I use my credit card. The credit card rebate is 1.5% and I appreciate the extra 30-45 pays to pay.

I'm with RickO here, same cash except for the mint.

I assume that you are equating cash with a check unless you are dealing person to person.
