Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

Well this weekend is seems we are enjoying a lot threads about the forum.image

And as for what I really like is educational threads like the old but true one by Sunnywood teaching us how toning progresses on coins. Even though the seach function makes it allmost impossible to find unless one has it bookmarked.image

I love reading posts and threads where the knowledge of our resident experts shines. I like threads on die varieties in particular. I also like the error vs. PMD threads. I am not an error collector but I find the thought processes in classifying errors fascinating.

There is tons of stuff on here that normally would never get written up. (We can debate whether it should get written up.) 50 or 100 years from now, this forum will convey a flavor of the times you really won't be able to find anywhere else. And some dude will find the secret document that identifies all the forum authors, and it will sell for big bucks at auction image

One other thing - whether the search is hard to use or not - everyday that search thing becomes more valuable with more content coming in all the time. A good numismatic researcher ignores the forum archive at their own peril......

I'm with the rest of you in that the best thing about this forum is the education I get from some very knowledgeable people here on the forum.

The second thing I enjoy is making new coin friends who I then get to visit with at shows.

The third thing is the beautiful copper I get to see here. In particular, I love the beautiful tokens and background information that Broadstruck posts.

As mentioned the knowledge shared is terrific. There was talk of PCGS shutting this place down at one time
when too much bashing was going on. That would have been a real shame, for both parties. Think they
realized this place had taken on a life of its own and was good for business, as long as they could control it a bit.

Long time members actually witnessed the advancement of coin photography here right before their eyes. Forum
members were a step ahead of everyone, including the dealers and auction houses. It created a venue to show
off your images, learn from forum critiques and share what works and doesnt work both in posts and PM's.
This place helped advance coin photography to what it is today. There are some members here who taught the dealers
    how to image their coins.

And where else can you discover someone like Bear. He created a character here that was the voice of reason in a
very simple but poetic way. He really got it, and I really miss enjoying him.
