Interesting question about the National and BBCE

We all are aware that BBCE has great product and they save, if you will, some of the best for the National. Well, not everyone can make it. So my question is, would it be a good thing if BBCE had a Live Video Feed where you could buy some of this great stuff and have them break it for you Live online? Adding to that, they would take all of it to PSA for on site grading? Sure the cost would be more but wouldn't that be a cool thing?

Personally I'd rather rip my own purchases, not watch someone else do it.

You like to watch, do you? Would you prefer Steve wear baby blue or royal blue gloves?
It is by far the best spent money in terms of growing knowledge and appreciation of the hobby.
Well worth money spent to go to the National
Will likely go every year.
Money well spent
IMHO

I totally agree. I went to my first National in 2011 and, while disappointed with how little I was able to cross off my want list, it was a great experience and a must for any serious collector.
Plus, while I didn't get to pick up as much as I hoped at the show itself, I kept in touch with a few dealers who have since located a number of those items for me.
Snorto~

ROFL, great replies and I fully understand the perks of going. I will one of these days. I was hoping Steve could hire a some college cheerleader type to assist him.

I tried; it's not in the budget.
Besides, we don't need any more distractions at the booth. There's going to be more than enough eye candy in our showcases.

Sad state of affairs when cards are deemed better eye candy than a good looking woman!

There was a flamboyant dealer in the early 1990s (California based), who would bring in three or four models/strippers to his booth wearing company t-shirts low cut and shredded. It was pretty entertaining. He would also bring in young players to sign autos at his booth for free at the big shows. I recall Dave Justice being one of them. I just can't remember the name of this company. Always wondered how he could make any money after all that expense. Maybe he didn't, but he definitely had fun.
